Pioneering Biopharmaceutical Manufacturing in Asia
Having opened its doors in 2014, Amgen Singapore is our first manufacturing site in Asia. It features next-generation biologics and chemical synthesis manufacturing facilities as well as a local commercial affiliate office. These facilities are helping to strengthen Amgen’s ability to address the region’s growing healthcare needs while providing treatments for millions.
Amgen Singapore is also a first-of-its-kind Ecovation™ facility with a focus on leaving a smaller physical footprint while being more cost-effective, flexible, and environmentally sustainable. As a result of these efforts, the facility achieved 100% carbon neutrality and 30% reduced water usage by 2021. It’s important to us that our work is not only groundbreaking, but safe and sustainable for our planet and our future.
