Business Performance Manager

What you will do

In this vital role you will have the ability to offer a unique opportunity to shape the future of the ATMOS organization as part of theStrategy & Performanceteam. This individual will play a key role in the execution of critical ATMOS processes and projects, most notably theEnterprise Tech and Data Governance (ETDG)forum and supporting processes. The position is essential in driving the success of strategic initiatives by designing and enhancing the governance workflows to streamline decision making and drive insights across the technology and data portfolios. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, highly organized, and proactive, with a strong focus on process improvement and continuous improvement across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

Automate End-to-End Governance Workflows

  • Identify manual or inefficient steps in the ETDG processes and deploy automation through enterprise automation teams or low‐code solutions (e.g., Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI, SharePoint, Microsoft Forms, etc.)!

  • Collaborate across process stakeholders to gather requirements, design solutions, and ensure smooth hand‐offs between automated steps and datasets.

  • Design data architecture and process to support analytics and insights needs across platforms that enable ETDG analytics and reporting workstreams.

Manage & Improve Governance Automation

  • Develop and maintain automation procedures, guidelines, and documentation.

  • Monitor process performance, gather feedback from stakeholders, and champion continuous improvement projects that drive compliance and efficiency across the ETDG workflow.

  • Serve as a change agent by providing training, documentation, and support that empowers teams to adopt new governance processes and supporting tools.

Support Strategic Insights

  • Partner with Finance, Portfolio Operations & Analytics, and extended stakeholders on data strategy, data structures, and workflows that enable governance KPIs.

  • Facilitate data‐driven reviews of technology and data categories to uncover optimization opportunities, identify cost savings, and advise executive reporting.

Drive ETDG Roadmap Execution

  • Contribute to short‐ and long‐term ETDG roadmap planning, aligning governance milestones with enterprise transformation objectives.

  • Own status tracking for key deliverables, proactively identifying and resolving roadblocks to keep governance initiatives on schedule and within scope.

Basic Qualifications:

Doctorate degree

OR

Master’s degree and 2 years of Information Systems and/or Business Analysis and/or Project Management experience

Or

Bachelor’s degree and 4 years of Information Systems and/or Business Analysis and/or Project Management experience

Or

Associate’s degree and 8 years of Information Systems and/or Business Analysis and/or Project Management experience

Or

High school diploma / GED and 10 years of Information Systems and/or Business Analysis and/or Project Management experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Expertise in low-code automation tools, business process optimization.

  • Experience with Microsoft Power Platforms (Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI) or other automation tools.

  • Experience in SharePoint site management is a plus.

  • Expertise with translating business requirements/user stories to technical requirements and recommend solutions for automation.

  • Strong background in data structures, data modeling, or data engineering is a plus.

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Demonstrated success in influencing without direct authority and building relationships with diverse teams.

The expected annual salary range for this role in the U.S. (excluding Puerto Rico) is posted. Actual salary will vary based on several factors including but not limited to, relevant skills, experience, and qualifications.
