What you will do
Under general supervision, the Manufacturing Associate performs manufacturing unit operations Finite Scheduling and Planning activities in a cGMP (current Good Manufacturing Practices) manufacturing environment in support of the production of commercial pharmaceutical products. Additionally, the Senior Associate Manufacturing will act as a supporting project manager for continuous improvement activities that support the advancement of the manufacturing operation.
Main Responsibilities:
Build and maintain manufacturing finite schedule to support upstream, downstream and supporting (solution preparation, column packing) operations
Request production orders and release manufacturing orders for manufacturing use
Conduct weekly client meeting to review scheduled client activities.
Integrate ASM client activity schedule (e.g. maintenance and non-routine activities) into manufacturing finite schedule.
Support schedule change requests and assessments to ensure reliable supply of product
Lead and drive continuous improvement of scheduling process which may involve learning, testing and use of digital tools and software to improve productivity.
Plan and schedule New Product Introduction, campaign readiness and product changeover activities
Subject matter expert for scheduling activities including Product Changeover, Capacity modelling and Run rate assessment.
Provide assessment and input for capacity modeling and production schedule planning
Own and drive Planning and Scheduling related deviations to completion
Draft, own, review and revise GMP documents within area of expertise (e.g. SOPs)
Comply with and reinforce cGMPs quality and safety requirements.
May interact with representatives of regulatory agencies.
Work within an ISO / EU classified environment while following the gowning requirements set forth for those areas
Off business hour on-call support
Cross functional interaction will be required.

What we expect of you
Basic Qualifications
Master’s degree OR
Bachelor’s degree and 2 years of directly related experience OR
Associate’s degree and/or 6 years of directly related experience OR
High school diploma / GED and 8 years of directly related experience
2 or more years’ experience with lab equipment, computers, and intermediate mathematical skills.
Ability to assemble, disassemble, operate and understand complex equipment per procedures.
Ability to perform basic computer operations, such as ability to navigate in MS Office, use email, and complete training using Computer Based Training (CBT).
Ability and willingness to work any shift in support of operations that may include 24/7.
Organizational skills and an ability to perform assignments with a high degree of attention to detail including documentation of work.
Capacity to follow written procedures, recognize and report malfunctions and make adjustments to equipment.
Written and oral communication skills.
Prior experience as a shift lead or support of manufacturing execution preferred
