In this vital role the iETL is a key member of the Access & Use Evidence Generation (AUEG) platform team, responsible for driving execution in the initial creation and subsequent management/refresh of AUEG Plans (AUEGPs) for assigned priority assets, or programs. This role involves close partnerships with Regional Medical Head and respective cross-functional Leads for the asset.

Leadership:

  • Lead AUEG Governance preparation for portfolio prioritization process for respective asset

  • Lead development of integrated evidence questions from identified regional/local evidence gaps – communicate and train teams on generation of meaningful evidence questions for AUEGPs

Facilitation and Negotiation:Navigate the cross-functional asset team, Regional Medical, and Global TA leadership teams through the AUEG process, facilitating discussions, influencing without authority and negotiating decisions at each step relevant to the asset's strategy and lifecycle stage.

Process Execution:Drive the creation, management, and maintenance of individual AUEGPs for assigned assets/programs in partnership with GMAL.

Scientific Collaboration:Understand the asset/program science and collaborate with Medical, Clinical, CfOR, GV&A, HEOR, and Marketing Leads to curate and synthesize information from available sources (GBP, GPS, TPP, CDP, literature reviews, LRS, etc.) into AUEG materials and discussions, establishing credibility with the asset team.

Lifecycle Management:Follow the progression of the AUEGP over the asset's lifecycle to ensure approved, funded tactics are executed according to plan and budget. Monitor for new data or information as a trigger to review or refresh the AUEGP bi-annually at minimum.

Continuous Improvement:Provide regular performance measurements and metrics on execution of AUEGPs. Identify key learnings for process improvements and efficiencies, bringing recommendations to the central AUEG team in support of continuous improvement.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive development and regular updates of individual AUEGPs for assigned assets/programs.
  • Expertly lead and facilitate meaningful discussions resulting in aligned decisions among a diverse, cross-functional team of asset Leads and geographically disbursed Medical leads
  • Apply scientific expertise to data curation in the development of AUEGP materials, workshop facilitation, and decision-making among cross-functional asset teams.
  • Influence cross-functional partners to change behavior without authority.
  • Establish proficiency in the digital evidence catalog to enable rapid connections between existing studies/analyses with relevance to new AUEGPs.
  • Monitor progress of approved, funded AUEGP tactics by assigned functional owners.
  • Deploy standardized KPIs to measure study performance, capture value realization and closure of evidence gaps.
  • Triage relevant data and information updates to ascertain appropriate timing for AUEGP review and refresh cycles.
  • Maintain working knowledge of existing AUEGPs to proactively identify/recommend synergies or commonalities between AUEGPs, especially for franchise or common disease area assets.
  • Provide continuous feedback to the AUEG Platform Team on opportunities for improved process efficiencies, cross-functional stakeholder engagement, training, or other aspects of the AUEG program operations.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with both CfOR and other functional area colleagues involved in the AUEGP process (Medical, GV&A, HEOR, Clinical, Regulatory, Safety, Patient Advocacy, Marketing and others).

Basic Qualifications:

Doctorate degree and 3 years of relevant experience

Or

Master’s degree and 7 years of relevant experience

Or

Bachelor’s degree and 9 years of relevant experience

Or

Associate’s degree and 12 years of relevant experience

Or

High School/ GED and 14 years of relevant experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience building or executing people programs, organizational development strategies or learning opportunities

  • Experience understanding the purpose of community engagement/outreach and importance of Public Health, Health Equity and Clinical Research

  • Ability to engage and network with internal and external stakeholders in relevant communities

  • Experience working with underserved communities and community organizations

  • Experience working with cross-functional global teams and ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization and geographies

  • Broad knowledge of Research and Development and Clinical Research.

  • Experience in translating brand strategy to evidence generation, execution and implementation

  • Ability to lead and influence others directly and indirectly, think proactively, and function independently

  • Ability to build visuals and decks that will positively represent initiatives

  • Ability to drive initiatives and programs across a global organization and within smaller working teams

  • A change agent who is passionate about building an inclusive culture

  • Ability to understand, balance, and articulate both tactical and long-term planning issues

  • Creative and critical problem solving

  • Demonstrated passion for DI&B

  • Strong project management, change management and organizational skills

  • Strategic agility: proven ability to translate strategy to execution

The expected annual salary range for this role in the U.S. (excluding Puerto Rico) is posted. Actual salary will vary based on several factors including but not limited to, relevant skills, experience, and qualifications.
