What you will do

The Global Distribution Hub Americas (GDHA) Sr Assoc Data Analytics will support GDHA enablement activities including the develop, maintain, and analysis of dashboards, KPIs, Team SharePoint, support the team with process mapping and any other business process.  Will create and monitor reports to support GDHA operations and advise on issues to be elevated and advice on business processes improvement by gathering information, research & analysis of data.


Accountabilities:

  • Lead in the development of new tools/reports/systems for new opportunities, data-driven decision making, and visualization in support new business and growth.
  • First point of contact for any ERP system support and enhancements (operational support, incident management, training, change requests, system testing, etc.), within GDHA organization.
  • Work with stakeholders to investigate use of automation to enhance business processes, increase efficiencies and drive OE.
  • Develop and maintain standardized reporting (performance/budget) for GDHA, aligning with broader strategy and requirements.


Responsibilities:  

  • Analyze complex data sets to identify trends, opportunities, and potential areas for optimization.
  • Leverage this data to drive effective decision-making and elevate issues.
  • Accurate and up to date understanding of latest market trend in database management, insights visualization and analytical tools. Staying abreast of digital trends in automation, AI/ML, RPA, data analytics.
  • Develop process solutions to a variety of business problems of medium scope and complexity enabling innovation and automation.
  • Ownership of month end closing activities/process.
  • Participate in and contribute to global ERP and business improvement projects as order to cash system SME.
  • Drive Continuous improvement in functional area.
  • Collaborate and steer data and system projects, serve as first point of contact with the business/requester.
  • Support on business cases to identify requirements for digital solutions.
  • Define and (co)create automated interactive dashboards and tools that turn data into business insights.
  • SME on data collection, cleaning, processing and visualization.
  • Lead in ERP operational support and troubleshooting to ensure continued operations.
  • Trainer for relevant ERP processes; ALM tester.
  • Ensures that all relevant Supply Chain systems and activities are in compliance with applicable regulations (e.g. GDP, GMP, SOX).

WHAT WE EXPECT OF YOU

We are looking for an expert professional with a strong marketing, digital operations, and data-driven decision-making background:

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering / Supply Chain / Logistics / Business or Data Analytics / Computer Sciences or Life Sciences.
  • 3 or more years of related professional experience.
  • Fluency in English, both in oral and written communication.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Communication skills and Stakeholder management.
  • Excellence in working with MS Office and advanced excel capabilities including use of pivot tables and macros.
  • Ability to communicate and provide meaningful business insights from data.
  • Experience working/trouble shooting in SAP Order-to-Cash module and SAP TM (or similar ERP systems).
  • Ability to translate user requirements into system functionality.
  • Experience in working across various cultures.
  • Customer focused.
  • Ability to deal with conflicting interest.
  • Pro-active behavior.
  • Reporting skills.
  • Experienced in cross functional project work.

Preferred Requirements:

  • Experience in a data science, data analyst, business analytics, business intelligence or comparable roles.
  • Experience in supply chain roles and solid understanding of supply chain management principles and interest in working on complex challenges.
  • Tableau and/or Smartsheet and/or PowerBI development/visualization experience including designing and developing reports and dashboards
  • Working experience in a highly regulated environment (e.g. GDP).
  • Ability to bridge functions, particularly technical and non-technical worlds.
  • Strong problem solving, storytelling and interpersonal skills with the ability to explain technical details in an easy-to-understand language for the business owners.
  • APICS CSCP or CPIM certification.
  • Lean Six Sigma certification.
  • Basic understanding of financial principles.
  • Experience in project management.
