WHAT YOU WILL DO

You will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining systems of AI/ML data and model lifecycle management that support various classes of models, including protein Language Models, LLMs, classical ML models, and computer vision models. YOU’LL BE working cross-functionally to build data and model management systems on multiple cloud providers and in-house HPC services to ensure AI/ML model operations are efficient, reproducible, and reliable.

The responsibilities of the role will include:

  • Design, develop, and maintain data ELT pipelines, vectorization, and registries for dataset versioning and data drift detection
  • Lead the design and implementation of AI/ML lifecycle management systems, including infrastructure for experiment tracking, model training and evaluation, and deployment pipelines
  • Take ownership of MLOps platform development from inception to deployment and maintenance, and manage scope, timelines, dependencies and risks
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand system requirements and design and implement solutions that meet or exceed business needs
  • Leverage cloud platforms (AWS preferred) to build scalable and efficient MLOps solutions
  • Collaborate and communicate effectively with product teams
  • Adhere to best practices for coding, testing, and designing reusable code components
  • Develop and deliver training content and knowledge articles to educate resident scientists on model lifecycle management best practices using the MLOps platform

WHAT WE EXPECT OF YOU:

Our ideal candidate

  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant subject
  • Demonstrated experience with deployment and maintenance of AI/ML models in production
  • Hands-on experience with cloud technologies and platforms, such as Databricks, AWS (preferred), and Azure
  • Hands-on experience with AI and MLOps frameworks and tools (mlflow, kubeflow, weights & biases, terraform, etc.)
  • Experience with containerization (docker, Kubernetes),
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work with large, complex datasets
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Demonstrated awareness of how to function in a team setting
  • Demonstrated presentation skills
  • Fluent English – written and spoken
