Procure to Pay Regional Service Owner – EMEA

WHAT YOU WILL DO
As the Procure to Pay (P2P) Regional Service Owner for EMEA, you will play a key leadership role in ensuring seamless procurement operations across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. You will lead a regional team, act as the primary point of contact for local business stakeholders, and drive continuous improvement in service delivery.
You will oversee help desk operations, manage escalations, and ensure compliance with Amgen’s policies and controls. Reporting to the Global P2P Support Enablement Lead, you will align regional operations with global strategies, define KPIs and SLAs, and foster collaboration across diverse teams.
Responsibilities:
Lead daily P2P operations across the EMEA region, ensuring quality, compliance, and timely execution.
Manage and resolve vendor master, purchase requisition, purchase order, and invoice exceptions.
Define and monitor team performance using KPIs and analytics to identify improvement opportunities.
Provide training and mentorship to team members, supporting both technical and career development.
Oversee budget planning and resource allocation for the regional team.
Collaborate with global governance teams to maintain and enforce P2P standards and policies.
Communicate business objectives clearly to the regional team and supervise progress against goals.
Align service expectations with regional leadership and ensure high-quality delivery.
Support global projects and lead regional change management efforts.
Build positive relationships with stakeholders, including senior leaders, and serve as the regional P2P ambassador.
Deliver relevant communications and updates to regional stakeholders and end users.
Gather feedback to continuously improve service delivery and user experience.

WHAT WE EXPECT OF YOU
Must-Have Skills:
Deep understanding of P2P processes and regional business needs.
Proven experience leading regional teams and managing help desk operations.
Strong ability to define and supervise KPIs and SLAs.
Excellent communication and stakeholder leadership skills.
Experience resolving complex procurement issues and escalations.
Strong analytical skills and familiarity with tools like Tableau or Power BI.
Experience with e-Sourcing platforms (e.g., Ariba, Coupa, Jaggaer) and CLM tools.
Ability to manage ambiguity and shifting priorities in a dynamic environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Chartered Accountant or MBA preferred.
8–10 years of experience in procurement operations or related fields.
4+ years of managerial or leadership experience.
Soft Skills:
Strong verbal and written communication.
Ability to work effectively in global, virtual teams.
High initiative, adaptability, and focus on results.
Team-oriented with strong influencing and change management skills.
