WHAT YOU WILL DO


As a key member of the Global Meetings Management team, you’ll drive the strategy, development, and execution of Amgen’s meeting and event technology platforms (Cvent, Data Angel, automation tools). Your responsibilities include:

  • Lead & Optimize Technology – Manage and enhance meeting technology platforms to improve efficiency and experiences.

  • Leverage Data & Analytics – Use insights to optimize budgets, spending, and strategic planning.

  • Streamline Workflows – Integrate meeting systems for seamless operations and collaboration.

  • Collaborate Across Teams – Partner with HR, Finance, R&D, Compliance, and vendors to align strategies.

  • Scale Global Solutions – Refine processes for cost efficiency and stakeholder satisfaction.

  • Monitor & Improve Performance – Track key metrics via dashboards to drive continuous enhancements.

  • Innovate & Automate – Implement automation solutions to boost efficiency and cut costs.

WHAT WE EXPECT OF YOU



We are all different, yet we all use our unique contributions to serve patients. The meetings and event professional we seek is passionate about technology and a strong cross-functional collaborator with these qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Technology, Data Analytics, Meeting & Event Management, or related field.

  • 4+ years of experience in event technology management or a similar role.

  • Strong data & analytics skills (reporting, dashboards).

  • Understanding of IT systems – SaaS/PaaS, API integrations (MuleSoft), automation tools, LMS.

  • Experience in system onboarding, implementation, and training program management.

  • Fluent in English, with excellent communication and project management skills.

  • (Preferred) Experience in Life Sciences, Biotech, Pharma, or other regulated industries.
