WHAT YOU WILL DO

ABOUT THE ROLE

Role Description:

As an IS analyst here at Amgen you will focus on supporting the governance of identity management and provisioning services, to ensure compliance with internal policies, security standards, and best practices.

You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and monitor identity and access management solutions while ensuring proper governance across the provisioning lifecycle. You'll lead requirement gathering sessions, document business processes, and create SDLC work for review.

Responsibilities of this role include:

  • Knowledge in provisioning, deprovisioning, and lifecycle management
  • Manage and enforce identity provisioning governance policies for compliance with security and organizational standards
  • Gather and translate business requirements into functional specifications for identity provisioning solutions
  • Optimize identity lifecycle processes to ensure secure, compliant user access provisioning
  • Coordinate with IT, security, HR, legal, and external teams for identity management solution implementation
  • Oversee provisioning and deprovisioning of user identities across systems and applications
  • Provide training and support for new identity provisioning tools and solutions
  •  Identify security and compliance risks in identity provisioning and recommend corrective actions
  • Continuously monitor identity provisioning processes and perform audits for governance compliance
  • Support incident response for identity-related security incidents and access issues
  • Recommend improvements to identity management and governance frameworks based on industry trends
  • Apply foundational project management practices to support on-time, in-scope delivery of initiatives
  • This position may have after hours / on call responsibilities

WHAT WE EXPECT OF YOU:

Our ideal candidate

  • Degree educated in a relevant subject
  • Experience with identity provisioning tools
  • Knowledge of governance frameworks and security protocols
  • Experience with IAM processes like RBAC and user lifecycle management
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms and SaaS integration for identity solutions
  • Experience in Agile methodologies and project management principles
  • Process analysis and optimization skills to improve identity lifecycle processes and ensure efficiency
  • Ability to assess security risks and recommend mitigation actions
  • Experience with audit and compliance in IAM
  • Strong collaborative and interpersonal skills
  • Experience in training and user support for identity management systems
  • Strong attention to detail for monitoring provisioning processes, performing audits, and ensuring compliance
  • Technical documentation skills to create functional specifications, reports, and process flow documentation
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities successfully
  • Good collaboration skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with business users, technical IT groups, project managers

As part of this role, you will need to be on call on a rotation basis, during weekends and evenings.
