Associate Manufacturing - Media Preparation
What you will do
Let’s do this. Let’s change the world. In this vital role you will support the Media Preparations Area according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Will perform and monitor critical processes, execute routine protocols, and regularly draft and revise documents such as Manufacturing Procedures and SOPs.
- Assembly preparation for manufacturing process, complete cleaning and process validation protocols.
- Perform hands-on operations, set-up, clean, sanitize and prepare media and buffers process per procedures.
- Understand and follow GMP, GDP and Aseptic Techniques
- Hands-on operations, set-up, clean, sanitize and prepare room and equipment for manufacturing process
- Recognize & accurately report problems
- Conduct basic troubleshooting
- Support and complete routine validation activities
- Draft and revise routine documents (e.g. SOP’s, PTC’s, and Technical Reports)
- Assist in the review of manufacturing orders at the Electronic Batch Records (EBR)
- Identify and recommend improvements related to routine functions and implement after approval
- Demonstrate flexibility, attention to detail, and commitment in a dynamic, 24/7 environment.
- Participate in daily meetings and use communication tools to align with production needs.
- Adapt to changing priorities and assist during downtime to sustain workflow.
- Collaborate with peers, leads, and trainers to meet goals and maintain a team-oriented culture.
- Support investigations and root-cause analyses to resolve issues and improve processes.
- May work generating/receiving inventory orders
- May train staff to perform hands-on tasks
- May act as safety and quality representative
What we expect of you

Basic Qualifications:
- High school/GED + 2 years of Manufacturing experience work experience OR
- Associate’s + 6 months of Manufacturing experience work experience OR
- Bachelor’s
Preferred Qualifications:
- Educational Background Life Science, Biotechnology or Engineering
- Experience in biotechnology, pharmaceutical or medical device company
- Understand equipment/processes which leads to greater independent judgment
- Basic mathematical skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Technical writing capability
- GMP knowledge with ability to interpret & apply
- Interaction...seek outside resources as needed
- Understand analytical methods for manufacturing area
- Specific system/equipment skills
