PROCESS DEVELOPMENT SCIENTIST - ATTRIBUTE SCIENCES
What you will do

In this vital role, you will lead from the bench—driving scientific innovation, mentoring future talent, and delivering high-impact analytical insights that advance life-changing therapies from development to delivery, while ensuring scientific rigor and regulatory compliance.
Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Complete and lead hands-on analytical testing using techniques such as HPLC, immunoassays, and DNA-based methods to support method lifecycle activities, process development, and troubleshooting.
- Develop, optimize, and troubleshoot analytical methods to solve technical challenges and enable data-driven decisions.
- Ensure all work adheres to regulatory standards and internal quality systems.
- Drive complex investigations in safety and quality labs, ensuring timely and high-quality data generation.
- Mentor and guide Associate Scientists, providing support in experimental design, troubleshooting, and lab best practices.
- Review and contribute to internal documentation, including SOPs, protocols, and technical reports.
- Independently resolve complex technical challenges and implement innovative solutions to improve lab operations and data quality.
- Analyze and interpret data, generating conclusions and actionable recommendations.
- Communicate findings effectively through presentations and reports to internal teams and global forums.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with teams across Drug Substance (DS) and Drug Product (DP) development, from early-stage through packaging and inspection.
- Engage in global initiatives, representing the lab in cross-site projects, technical collaborations, and network-wide forums.

Basic Qualifications:
Doctorate degree
OR
Master’s degree and 2 years of Process Development and/or Laboratory experience
OR
Bachelor’s degree and 4 years of Process Development and/or Laboratory experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- Academic Background in Lifesciences or Engineering.
- Extensive hands-on experience in analytical techniques (e.g., HPLC, ELISA, qPCR).
- Ability to work independently and solve complex technical problems.
- Experience in technical documentation and data analysis/presentation.
- Demonstrated leadership and teamwork in cross-functional environments.
- Fully bilingual in English and Spanish, with strong verbal communication, documentation, and presentation skills.
- Familiarity with regulatory expectations and GMP environments.
- Experience with Empower platform for laboratory operations.
- Ability to prioritize with minimal supervision
