Maintenance Technician - AML 6 (Night Shift)

What you will do
Let’s do this. Let’s change the world. In this vital role you will conduct preventive maintenance to production equipment; conduct basic troubleshooting activities and employ predictive technologies to identify root cause and appropriate corrective actions for equipment problems. This role supports rotational non-standard shift operations (Night Shift) at the AML6 Drug Substance Organization.

Key Responsibilities: 

• Plan and implement maintenance activities to minimize production and utility equipment downtime
• Perform corrective maintenance and repairs on production and utilities equipment
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and escalate complex problems when necessary
• Maintain organized inventory of spare parts
• Document work accurately through logs and work orders
• Adhere to safety guidelines and company procedures, complete required training
• Contribute to improving maintenance procedures and standards
• Support installation and setup of new machinery
• Work flexible shifts including evenings, nights, and weekends as needed

What we expect of you
We are all different, yet we all use our unique contributions to serve patients. The Maintenance Technician professional we seek is an individual contributor with these qualifications. 

Basic Qualifications:
Associate’s degree and 2 years of maintenance experience 
Or
2 years in a technical school setting with hands-on maintenance experience
Or
High school diploma / GED and 4 years of maintenance experience 

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in GxP regulated environments with strong verbal and written communication skills
• Proficiency troubleshooting and repairing rotating equipment (motors, pumps, fans, agitators)
• Experience performing maintenance (predictive, preventive, corrective) on biopharmaceutical equipment including:
• Bioreactors, centrifuges, chromatography systems
• UF/DF systems, CIP/COP processes
• Autoclaves and glass washers
• Skilled in component inspection, failure identification, and elastomer replacement
• Experience maintaining clean utility systems (WFI stills, air handling units, clean steam generators, purified water units)
• Intermediate computer skills with CMMS experience (Maximo or SAP)
• Ability to interpret schematics and P&IDs for proper Lockout/Tagout procedures
