In this vital role We are seeking a visionary and technically strong Specialist Software Engineer (Translation) plays a key role in ensuring software applications are seamlessly translated and localized for diverse global markets. This involves designing, developing, and maintaining systems and processes to facilitate efficient and accurate translation workflows. He/She work collaboratively with development teams, product managers, and localization specialists to deliver high-quality, culturally-relevant software experiences

• Software Development: Design, build, and maintain applications and services related to life sciences data and translation workflows. This could involve developing solutions for managing linguistic assets, automating translation processes, integrating with Machine Translation engines, or building specialized tools for life sciences content localization.

• Domain Expertise: Understanding the specific requirements, data formats, and regulatory considerations unique to the life sciences domain (e.g., clinical trials, medical documentation, pharmaceutical regulations).

• Collaboration: Working with linguists, project managers, and other stakeholders in the life sciences translation process to understand their needs and develop effective solutions.

• Technical Architecture: Designing scalable and secure software architectures that can handle large volumes of sensitive life sciences data.

• Quality Assurance: Ensuring the quality and accuracy of the software developed, potentially including validation and testing according to life sciences industry standards.

Basic Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field with 9-13 years of software development experience OR,

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field with 10-14 years of software development experience

• 7+ years of experience in software engineering  with Proficiency in relevant programming languages and frameworks (e.g., experience with front-end technologies like JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, and frameworks; and server-side technologies like microservices and frameworks such as Rest API,Node Js).

• , Experience with database design and management, particularly for storing and processing life sciences data.

•  Understanding of translation memory systems, terminology management tools, and Machine Translation engines could be beneficial.

•  Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP), CI/CD, and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)

• Strong understanding of software development principles, cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP), and modern tech stacks (e.g., Java, Python, Angular, React).

•  Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills

• Hands on experience on data platform, software programming languages

• Experience with agile methodologies for software development.

• Strong problem solving, analytical skills; Ability to learn quickly; Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experienced with API integration, serverless, microservices architecture.

• Experienced with React, Java/Node Js , Pyhton , Java script

• Experience with design patterns, data structures, data modelling, data algorithms, databricks

• Experienced with AWS /Azure Platform, Building an deploying the code

• Experience in Agile software development methodologies

Good to Have Skills

Willingness to work on Full stack Applications

• Experience working in regulated industries (ideally pharmaceutical, biotech, or healthcare).

• Experience with popular large language models

• Experience with Langchain or llamaIndex framework for language models

• Experience with prompt engineering, model fine tuning

• Knowledge of NLP techniques for text analysis and sentiment analysis

• experience with streaming technologies like Kafka
