What you will do

Reporting to Marketing Lead - Hematology & Oncology, the Associate Product Manager - Hematology & Oncology is accountable for:

  • Working cross-functionally to ensure the benefits to patients offered by Amgen products can be optimized

  • Devising and implementing marketing plans in line with global guidance to build the brand and grow the business

  • Ensuring all plans and initiatives adhere to highest level of integrity and Amgen Values

Key Responsibilities

Insight Generation

  • Build network with key external stakeholders to gain insight about the unmet medical needs

  • Identify new business opportunities, develop business cases and plans for securing resources to realize the potential of the opportunities

Planning, Execution & Cross-Function Collaboration

  • Support Marketing Lead to develop long range plans, annual budget, and quarter latest forecasts

  • Work closely with Marketing Lead to develop and implement Local Brand Plan

  • Update demand forecast monthly and work with supply chain to ensure stable supply of responsible product(s)

  • Design and execute promotional activities (detail aids, message scripts, advertising, congresses, etc.) in line with the approved local plan

  • Engage and enable (provide training, appropriate materials, etc.)  sales force to achieve brand aspiration (cycle and product meetings)

  • Partner with the local medical counterpart to optimize brand performance (KOL development, etc.)

  • Coordinate competitive intelligence and drive competitive action plans

  • Manage marketing budget to ensure adherence to latest forecasts

  • Manage and work with external vendors and Global Service Centers on promotional materials

  • Track and report brand performance regularly based upon the agreed KPIs included local brand plan

  • Ensure all activities, campaigns, and materials (1) are reviewed & approved according to the corresponding SOPs; and (2) align with internal policies and local code of practices

What we expect of you

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in industry, with at least 1 year of experience in marketing function

  • Computer skills (MS Office programs)

  • Fluency in English, both oral and written communications

  • Proficiency in Cantonese

  • Demonstrate critical thinking and industry knowledge

  • Examine and understand issues from multiple perspectives or points of view, readily see inter-relationships and cause and effect relationships; take a systematic approach to successfully resolving all issues

  • Apply advanced communication and presentation skills

  • Communicate effectively at all levels both internally and externally

  • Apply analytical and project management skills

  • Serve as a role model and resource to others in promoting open, honest, and cooperative relationships throughout the organization

  • Display strong organizational and time management skills; multi-tasks effectively; deliver on commitments in a timely manner

  • Take initiative and act pro-actively, enthusiastically, and creatively
