At Amgen Breda, medicines are labeled, assembled, stored, and eventually shipped to various countries worldwide. Every day more than 1000 people from 38 different nationalities are working on supply chain processes, manufacturing, marketing, and sales of our medicines and clinical research into new medicines.

Join our dynamic International & Distribution Quality (IDQ) team and become part of a group of dedicated Quality professionals ensuring compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Good Distribution Practices (GDP) for the manufacturing, storage, and distribution of medicinal products in the Benelux region.

Throughout your internship, you’ll be actively involved in projects and tasks related to product complaints, Quality trainings, and Quality records (e.g. Deviations, CAPAs, Change Controls). You’ll also gain insights into the practical implementation of GDP/GMP and collaborate with international stakeholders across the EMEA region.

This role offers an exciting opportunity to explore real-world Quality challenges, contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, and develop a deep understanding of Quality Systems in a pharmaceutical environment. You’ll be supervised by the QA Manager and coached in your journey to becoming a Quality professional.

Deliverables:

• Deliver enhanced solutions to improve customer experience and compliance in product complaints handling.
• Improve and simplify Quality-related training for product complaints linked to new product introductions or lifecycle management.
• Maintain and support the quality and compliance of Quality records within Amgen’s Quality Management System.

To be successful as an intern you need the following:

• Be a pre-final year student (Bachelor), preferably in Pharmacy, Biotechnology, or Life Sciences.
• Have excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Be proactive, organized, and able to work independently on tasks.
• Have an analytical mindset, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.
• Be familiar with process improvement principles and quality compliance standards.
• (Preferred) Experience with data reporting tools (e.g., Smartsheet) and basic understanding of GMP/GDP.
