What you will do?

As a Medical Science Liaison (MSL), you will play a pivotal role in applying all our scientific capabilities to make a positive impact on changing patients’ lives. This is a critical role for Amgen, as you will be the face of our company in our meaningful collaborations with healthcare professionals, patient associations and other partners. As MSL Cardiovascular you will:

• Identify, develop and maintain collaborative relationships with current and future Scientific Experts and other relevant stakeholders
• Develop and implement local Scientific Expert engagement plans, in line with local and international strategy
• Represent the Amgen Medical department
• Discuss scientific messages, clinical outcomes and patient benefits with Scientific Experts, HCP’s of diverse specialisms, nurse specialists and other relevant stakeholders in close collaboration with your colleagues in the regional team
• Provide and/or present field observations and insights to internal customers

• Proven experience in industry, preferably within knowledge of the cardiovascular playing field
• Advanced degree (e.g. PhD, MD, MSc or PharmD)
• Established cardiovascular network, including relevant key-experts
• Passionate about networking and customer-facing contact
• Curious, continuous improvement with learning agility
• Science Based attitude, data driven, outside-in thinking and strategic overview
• Confident, optimistic and persistent

• Patient centric and influential
• Willingness to travel and preferably living in the South-East region
• Flexibility to work outside of regular office hours
• Fluency in English and in Dutch
