Every day more than 1000 people from 38 different nationalities work on supply chain processes, manufacturing, marketing, and sales of our medicines and clinical research into new drugs.

What you do

Our Supply Planning team plays a vital role in ensuring the reliable delivery of our medicines to patients across Europe, Turkey, the Middle East, and Africa. At our Class A-certified Breda site—recognized across the Amgen network for its ability to manage complex operations with short lead times—we oversee short-, medium-, and long-term planning for incoming supplies to production and warehouse operations.

We’re looking for a Detailed Scheduler to join our dynamic team. Whether you’re early in your career or bring years of experience, if you’re energized by new challenges and want to make a real impact, this is your opportunity.

In this role, you will:

  • Lead short-term, efficient production planning for packaging lines, ensuring timely delivery and a stable supply to patients.

  • Develop and execute production schedules in SAP, manage orders, and coordinate smooth product launches and phase-outs.

  • Monitor weekly and monthly KPIs to ensure the stability of the Master Production Schedule, taking corrective actions when needed.

  • Participate in daily and weekly operational meetings to track performance and align cross-functional execution.

  • Collaborate closely with manufacturing, quality, warehouse, and supply chain teams; lead weekly capacity meetings to align on feasible supply plans.

  • Drive standardization, simplification, and automation in daily operations and cross-functional projects.

  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives and root cause analyses to enhance efficiency and operational excellence.

  • Demonstrate leadership in maintaining stable operations and supply chain performance, while adhering to GMP and GDP standards.

What we expect from you

The Supply Chain professional we are looking for is a detail-oriented and collaborative individual with the following qualifications:

  • A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Science, Engineering, or a related field.

  • Experience in supply chain planning, preferably in a regulated environment.

  • Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments.

  • An analytical mindset with the ability to perform root cause analysis and solve problems effectively.

  • Agility to connect the dots and adapt quickly to changing situations.

  • Experience with GMP is a plus but not required.

  • A passion for standardization and process automation; familiarity with tools like Tableau, Smartsheet, or Databricks is preferred.

  • A strong connection to the shop floor, with the ability to work in a hybrid model (minimum 3 days per week on-site).

  • Experience with SAP is preferred.
