China - Beijing Apply NowResponsibilities for this role will be territory based and driven by the assigned plans in the regional medical liaison plan of action (POA) and territory management plan (TMP). The Sr Manager, MSL will assign key responsibilities from the plan to this role.
Responsibilities include:
Establish and maintain a deep understanding of scientific and clinical knowledge in the field of osteoporosis and the related products, Prolia and Evenity.
Engage in scientific exchange with healthcare professionals to communicate and advance the scientific communication platform, as aligned with pipeline goals and objectives
Communicate complex, cutting edge, scientific information and research concepts to healthcare makers, including but not limited to, those at Centers of Education and Research
Identify, develop, and maintain collaborative relationships with current and future opinion leaders.
Organize and lead regional educational programs and research education initiatives.
Identify/recommend sites for Amgen clinical trials in conjunction with and when required by Development Operations.
Deliver site or regional investigator meetings in support of study rationale, trial enrollment and/or subject retention
Manage the field activities related to the submission and execution of Investigator Supported Studies (ISS) in line with Amgen's existing policies
Respond to unsolicited off-label questions within Amgen Medical information Guidelines

Basic Qualifications Selection Criteria (minimum qualifications):
Master's or Ph.D. degree in Clinical Medicine, Pharmacy, or related fields.
Minimum of 2 years of relevant professional experience
Fluent in Chinese (Mandarin) and English
Prior Medical Liaison experience is preferred
Preferred Qualifications Preferred Requirements
Established relationships with scientific thought leaders, preferably in the field of osteoporosis/Endocrinology/Orthopedics.
Exceptional communication skills.
Experience working within cross-functional, matrixed team environments.
Strong organizational and project management skills.
Strategic thinking, analytical problem-solving, and knowledge of clinical trial statistical concepts.
