National Key Account Manager- Algeria

The National Key Account Manager at Amgen is a vital role that has a true tangible impact in ensuring that our innovative products are accessible to patients in need. This position involves communicating the value of our products to healthcare providers, payers, and policymakers, aiming to maximize patient access and thus Amgen growth across Maghreb region.
This position will be based in Algeria, reporting to Market Access Sr Manager Maghreb Cluster.
Job Description
A- Planning
- Map decision processes and identify key decision makers in Algeria.
- Implement and monitor an action plan for the accounts in charge on top of them the PCH.
- Support the Marketing & Commercial teams in developing their strategy & approaches.
B- Execution & Tracking
- Build long-term partnerships with identified stakeholders.
- Negotiate sales conditions, enroll in contract management, and execute tenders based on country strategy & dynamics.
- Ensure net sales objectives in hospital channel in Algeria.
- Inform the cross-functional teams about new developments in his/her assigned therapy area access space and their relevance for Amgen.
- Ability to engage all key stakeholders (PCH, Planners, Payers) around patient ecosystem.
- Serve as a resource to customers and staff regarding payer policies and processes.
- Deal making, closing and follow-ups.
- Be up to date with market dynamics, track sales & price development.
- Implement the agreed local market access strategy throughout the product lifecycle by working closely with Regulatory, Medical, Marketing & Sales to secure broad product access for Amgen's new and existing product portfolio.
- Make sure that all actions taken are compliant to Amgen policies & processes.
Qualifications:
- University Degree in a Life Sciences/Health discipline (Medicine, Pharmacy, Biology)
- +8 years of experience in commercial role within a multinational company.
- Experience in different stakeholders’ management internally & externally.
- Strongly aware of the market dynamics in Algeria with experience in dealing with PCH.
- Experience in working on a newly launched product within Algeria market.
- Current or previous experience managing Oncology &/or Hematology Therapy Areas is a huge plus.
- Problem solving mindset with excellent negotiation & communication skills.
- Having an appetite for challenges & flexibility to manage them.
- Fluency in English & French, both in written and oral communication.
