Since launching in 1992, AML has evolved into Amgen's largest manufacturing site, producing over 24 biopharmaceutical products and distributing to more than 70 countries. Backed by an investment of over $4.27 billion, our state-of-the-art campus combines innovation, scale, and resilience to meet the world's most complex medical needs. The site operates 24/7 with full end-to-end capabilities-formulation, filling, packaging, and distribution-supporting over 64% of Amgen's global revenues.

Community Involvement
From funding and equipment donations to the Amgen Biotechnology Learning Center at the University of Puerto Rico at Mayaguez to supporting reconstruction efforts following Hurricane Maria in 2017, Amgen has a history of driving positive change and strengthening the communities in which our employees work and live.
Since 2004, Amgen and the Amgen Foundation have invested ~$10 million to support science education, health, and community programs in Puerto Rico.
