Strategic Planning & Operations Senior Manager
What you will do

In this vital role you will be a key leadership role within the US Value & Access (USV&A) Contracts & Pricing organization supporting Oncology & Rare Disease, Trade & Channel, and Denosumab Brand. Reporting directly to the Associate Vice President, this role serves as a strategic partner and operational leader, enabling effective execution of business priorities in a complex, dynamic, and highly driven environment.
The Senior Manager will collaborate closely with Directors and Executive Directors across USV&A, as well as critical cross-functional partners including Human Resources, Legal, Medical Affairs, Finance, Patient Services, Brand and Account teams. Success in this role requires effective communication and influencing skills, the ability to lead and manage multiple critical initiatives simultaneously, and comfort operating in a highly matrixed organization.

Responsibilities
Strategic Planning & Leadership Support
Partner with senior US V&A and Brand leadership to support strategic priorities and drive implementation of initiatives and pilots that accelerate appropriate brand utilization
Support strategy development and execution across USV&A Oncology, Rare Disease, Trade & Channel, and Denosumab teams
Lead synthesis and sharing of insights across USV&A leadership to inform portfolio management decisions and potential changes to brand strategy
Operational Excellence & Governance
In collaboration with the leadership team, drive consistent execution of strategy by developing common Contracts & Pricing platforms for payers and sites of infusion and establishing standard processes within Trade & Channel, including wholesalers and specialty pharmacy
Support the quarterly operating cadence, including latest estimated discount rate (LEDR) processes, brand business reviews, forecasting, and long-range scenario planning
Lead bi-weekly leadership meetings, including agenda development, documentation of decisions and action items, and follow-through on commitments
Cross-Functional & Field Enablement
Coordinate with Market Access and C&P teams to plan and complete field-facing meetings, including Semester 1 (S1) and Semester 2 (S2) meetings
Support coordination of launches, training initiatives, and conference participation
Culture, Talent & Communications
Lead planning and execution for all-staff town halls, including speaker coordination and executive presentation development
Support and advance the organization’s commitment to building an inclusive, successful culture
Partner with Human Resources on talent, engagement, and organizational initiatives as needed

Basic Qualifications:
Doctorate degree and 2 years of relevant professional experience OR
Master’s degree and 4 years of relevant professional experience OR
Bachelor’s degree and 6 years of relevant professional experience OR
Associate’s degree and 10 years of relevant professional experience OR
High school diploma / GED and 12 years of relevant professional experience
Preferred Qualifications:
Field leadership and/or Home Office experience
Experience in US Market Access, Contracts & Pricing, Trade, and/or related commercial functions
Strong understanding of US managed markets, access intermediaries, and healthcare policy
Demonstrated critical thinking with the ability to translate ideas into tangible results
Strong planning, analytical, project management, and organizational skills
Ability to successfully manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, including executive-level presentation development
Contracting and pricing experience in payer and/or provider settings

The expected annual salary range for this role in the U.S. (excluding Puerto Rico) is posted. Actual salary will vary based on several factors including but not limited to, relevant skills, experience, and qualifications.
