Senior Associate, Business Performance & Operations Transformation
What you will do

The Senior Associate, Business Performance & Operations Transformation will play an important role in advancing this mission by supporting initiatives that improve efficiency, enable digital and data-driven capabilities, and deliver measurable business impact. This role will work closely with partners across Amgen’s Operations and enterprise functions to contribute to transformation programs, provide analytical insights, and help build organizational capabilities that support long-term performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Support and lead Transformation Initiatives: Contribute to the planning and execution of programs that translate enterprise and Operations strategies into actionable objectives, driving efficiency and agility.
Operational Excellence: Assist in finding opportunities for process improvement and performance enhancement, helping embed excellence across the organization.
Digital & Data Enablement: Use digital platforms, analytics, and automation tools to gather insights, optimize processes, and support data-driven decision-making.
Project Coordination: Coordinate and track activities within transformation and productivity programs, ensuring deliverables are completed on time and aligned with expected outcomes.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with colleagues across Operations, R&D, Commercial, and Corporate Functions to support integrated, enterprise-wide initiatives.
Performance Tracking: Contribute to developing dashboards, reports, and metrics that monitor progress and inform leadership decisions.
Change Support: Assist in change management efforts by preparing communications, engaging team members, and supporting readiness activities.
Capability Building: Help develop frameworks, tools, and training materials that strengthen organizational skills in operational strategy, digital transformation, and execution excellence.

Basic Qualifications:
Master’s degree OR
Bachelor’s degree and 2 years of relevant business/operations experience OR
Associate’s degree and 6 years of relevant business/operations experience OR
High school diploma / GED and 8 years of relevant business/operations experience
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience supporting business performance, operations, or digital enablement initiatives.
Exposure to operational strategy, performance management, or consulting.
Familiarity with digital platforms, data, and analytics for driving outcomes.
Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and contribute to collaborative outcomes.
Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

This role is paid hourly. The expected annualized salary range for this role in the U.S. (excluding Puerto Rico) is $90,274.00 to $105,574.00. Actual salary will vary based on several factors including but not limited to, relevant skills, experience, and qualifications.
