Medical Global Training and Development Sr Manager

What you will do

As a Knowledge and Learning professional (LP), you will be responsible in developing, implementing, and managing educational programs that enhance the understanding and application of the therapeutic area, treatment landscape and data within our organization. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and subject matter experts to create a stimulating learning environment that empowers our employees in global medical affairs and to stay abreast of the disease state, landscape, and program you will be leading.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Design and create comprehensive learning materials.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure the accuracy and relevance of educational contents.
  • Facilitate engaging and interactive learning sessions for employees, utilizing various forms of learning.
  • Tailor learning programs to meet the diverse learning needs of the employees at different levels within the different functions.
  • Develop and implement learning strategies to improve scientific communication skills and to foster a learning culture across the company.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners, to enhance the organization's scientific knowledge base.
  • The successful candidate will work closely with internal (e.g., Global Medical, Global Scientific Communications, Medical Science Liaisons) and external groups (e.g., suppliers, opinion leaders) to develop and execute these learning programs.
  • Some travel may be required—usually 20%.

What we expect of you

Basic Qualifications:

Doctorate degree and 2 years of clinical and/or scientific affairs experience

Or

Master’s degree and 4 years of clinical and/or scientific affairs experience

Or

Bachelor’s degree and 6 years of clinical and/or scientific affairs experience

Or

Associate’s degree and 10 years of clinical and/or scientific affairs experience

Or

High school diploma / GED and 12 years of clinical and/or scientific affairs experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • A professional degree of Pharm.D., or MD/DO or PhD in a relevant medical science field (eg, biology, chemistry, pharmacology) with 5 or more years of biotech/pharmaceutical and /or clinical experience
  • Understanding of learning methodology and design
  • Excellent technical writing, oral, presentation, and project management skills and the ability to search, critically analyze, and summarize scientific literature
  • Understanding of the pharmaceutical commercialization process and knowledge of the legal and regulatory guidelines affecting promotion of prescription products
  • Ability to interface cross-functionally in a dynamic, matrixed environment

The expected annual salary range for this role in the U.S. (excluding Puerto Rico) is posted. Actual salary will vary based on several factors including but not limited to, relevant skills, experience, and qualifications.
