Global Marketing Senior Manager

This role will join the Biosimilars Business Unit (BBU) global marketing team as a Global Marketing Senior Manager.  Reporting to the Global Marketing Sr. Director, this role presents a breadth of challenging and exciting responsibilities, including working closely with key stakeholders across cross-functional teams and regional markets.  

The Marketing Senior Manager will be directly responsible for two in-line products, WEZENLA and BEKEMV, brands requiring oversight in accordance with Amgen’s Global-to-Local commercialization model. The Senior Manager will also work closely with the Global Marketing Sr. Director to successfully commercialize ABP692, including deliverables in line with Amgen’s Launch Excellence (LEX) framework. This will include development and execution of promotional planned market readiness (PMR) strategies and tactics for adaptation in the US, ELMAC and JAPAC regions.  

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:  

  • Support future ABP692 biosimilar readiness plans including strategy definition and development of foundational marketing assets, in line with Amgen’s LEX framework 

  • For ABP692, lead work creative agency of record (AOR) to develop global communications platform, brand book and positioning  

  • For ABP692, generate customer insights through primary market research, OL engagement, advisory board execution, and congress participation. Partner with Sr. Director to ensure pull through into all global commercial efforts 

  • Engage across markets with Brand Working Group (BWG) as a component of the Integrated Brand Team (IBT) to facilitate development of global brand plans across key products, particularly WEZENLA. Lead development of global brand plans for WEZENLA and BEKEMV in partnership with Sr. Director. 

  • Across in-market brands, lead indication-specific strategy and planning and execution, leveraging global-to-local framework 

  • Lead commercial roll out of real-world evidence (RWE) for BEKEMV  

  • Forge strong working relationships with global and affiliate cross-functional partners, and BBU commercial team members 

  • Manage budget for projects within realm of responsibility

Basic Qualifications:

Doctorate degree 

Or 

Master’s degree and 2 years of Marketing and/or business experience in a role aligned with a Marketing/Sales commercial organization. 

Or 

Bachelor’s degree and 4 years of Marketing and/or business experience in a role aligned with a Marketing/Sales commercial organization. 

Or 

Associate’s degree and 8 years of Marketing and/or business experience in a role aligned with a Marketing/Sales commercial organization. 

Or 

High school diploma / GED and 10 years of Marketing and/or business experience in a role aligned with a Marketing/Sales commercial organization. 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated ability to develop marketing strategies, guide marketing execution, and collaborate effectively across teams 

  • Previous success leading cross-functional teams in a matrixed environment 

  • Strong ability to distill complex data and market inputs into clear insights that inform strategy, decision-making, and cross-functional alignment 

  • Experience working with and managing creative and strategic agencies, including briefing, development, and execution of promotional assets 

  • Solid understanding of regulatory and legal review processes (e.g., medical, legal, regulatory review boards) 

  • Track record of managing budgets and prioritizing resources to meet organizational objectives 

  • Highly self-motivated, adaptable, and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously with limited direction 

  • Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills with a passion for delivering results

The expected annual salary range for this role in the U.S. (excluding Puerto Rico) is posted. Actual salary will vary based on several factors including but not limited to, relevant skills, experience, and qualifications.
