Sr. Associate Business Performance
What you will do
Let’s do this. Let’s change the world. The Senior Associate Business Performance professional will support project financial management for technology and data initiatives. This role partners closely with Project Managers to develop budgets, forecast costs, analyze variances, and monitor project performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Cost Management & Financial Controls
- Develop and maintain project budgets and forecasts.
- Monitor commitments, expenditures, and project spending.
- Review contractor and vendor invoices for accuracy.
- Lead monthly cost reviews and variance analysis.
- Support capital funding requests and financial approvals.
- Process accruals, reclassifications, and financial adjustments.
Schedule Management
- Develop and maintain project schedules using approved scheduling tools.
- Analyze schedule performance, milestones, critical paths, and risks.
- Validate contractor schedules and identify potential delays.
- Support schedule recovery planning when required.
Risk & Change Management
- Maintain project risk registers.
- Assess cost and schedule impacts of project changes.
- Ensure approved changes are accurately reflected in forecasts and reports.
Reporting & Governance
- Prepare project controls reports covering cost, schedule, risks, and performance.
- Provide actionable insights and recommendations to project leadership.
- Ensure compliance with corporate project governance standards.
Stakeholder Collaboration
- Partner with Project Managers, Finance teams, and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Support communication and reporting across project teams.

Basic Qualifications:
Master’s degree
OR
Bachelor’s degree and 2 years of experience in project controls, cost management, scheduling, or project finance
OR
Associate’s degree and 6 years of experience in project controls, cost management, scheduling, or project finance
OR
High school diploma / GED and 8 years of experience in project controls, cost management, scheduling, or project finance
Preferred Qualifications:
- Working knowledge of Anaplan, Primavera P6, MS Project, SAP, Power BI, and Excel.
- Experience within biotechnology, pharmaceutical, or manufacturing environments.
- Strong understanding of project planning, scheduling, cost management, and risk management.

The expected annual salary range for this role in the U.S. (excluding Puerto Rico) is posted. Actual salary will vary based on several factors including but not limited to, relevant skills, experience, and qualifications.
