The Senior Manager, Neurology Medical Marketing - Opinion Leader Engagement & Peer-to-Peer (P2P) will lead the U.S. Neurology opinion leader (OL) engagement and P2P strategy, UPLIZNA Speaker Bureau, and marketing-led HCP education and engagement portfolio across gMG and NMOSD. Reporting to the Neuro Medical Marketing Lead, this individual will translate franchise and indication priorities into an integrated external engagement model that strengthens strategic relationships, customer confidence, brand differentiation, and high-quality field execution.
This role has end-to-end accountability for marketing-led OL engagement and P2P, including OL mapping and engagement planning, speaker programs, Peer Discussion Groups, industry therapeutic updates (ITUs), product theaters, symposia, speaker development, P2P content, and agency/vendor delivery. The Senior Manager will lead and develop direct reports who pull through assigned workstreams and partner closely with HCP Marketing, Medical Affairs, Field Medical, Sales, TLLs, Training, Regulatory, Legal, Market Access, Global, Professional Marketing, and other cross-functional colleagues. Advisory boards and other primary insight-generation forums are led by the Insights & Congress Strategy organization; this role translates those learnings into engagement plans.
Key Responsibilities
Lead Opinion Leader Engagement and P2P Strategy
Set and evolve the U.S. Neurology OL engagement and P2P strategy across gMG and NMOSD, aligning marketing-led HCP education and engagement with franchise priorities, customer needs, scientific developments, competitive dynamics, and lifecycle objectives.
Own OL mapping, segmentation, and engagement planning for established and emerging OLs, in partnership with Medical Affairs, Field Medical, TLLs, and HCP Marketing.
Establish clear engagement objectives, audience segmentation, deployment plans, and success measures for the portfolio; ensure each activity is appropriately aligned to customer, indication, and business needs.
Lead annual and in-year P2P and OL engagement planning, including program volume, geographic deployment, investment allocation, and contingency planning across both indications.
Own and Evolve the UPLIZNA Speaker Bureau and P2P Portfolio
Own the strategy, design, and execution of the UPLIZNA Speaker Bureau, including bureau composition, speaker segmentation, recruitment, onboarding, contracting coordination, activation, and ongoing optimization.
Own the end-to-end design and execution of marketing-led HCP education and P2P programs, including speaker programs, Peer Discussion Groups, ITUs, and other approved customer education opportunities.
Lead speaker training and development strategy, including curriculum design, content readiness, faculty preparation, and ongoing capability building for new and tenured speakers.
Partner with Sales Training and field leadership to strengthen field readiness, appropriate program pull-through, and a consistent customer experience.
Lead Opinion Leader Engagement at Congresses
Own all marketing-led OL-facing engagement at congresses, including ITUs, symposia, product theaters, speaker and faculty activity, and other approved OL-present programs.
Set the strategy, objectives, and engagement plans for the OL-facing congress workstream; lead and direct the team members responsible for detailed planning and on-site pull-through.
Partner with the TLL team to identify and coordinate priority OL engagements for the Neuro Medical Marketing Lead, other leaders, and cross-functional partners before and during congresses; ensure agreed follow-up actions are completed after the event.
Partner with the Insights & Congress Strategy lead to integrate OL engagement plans into sponsorship choices, the broader congress activation strategy, and post-congress learning. Partner with Professional Marketing to align OL-facing programs with its booth-related and sales-driven assets.
Build Content and Deliver High-Quality Execution
Own development and lifecycle management of P2P materials, including speaker decks, disease-state resources, case-based materials, and program tools; oversee agency development, MAC review, approval, rollout, and updates.
Ensure P2P content and speaker training clearly communicate the scientific and clinical rationale for UPLIZNA while meeting the distinct needs of gMG and NMOSD customers.
Manage P2P and OL engagement budgets, agencies, and external vendors with strong financial stewardship, rigorous prioritization, and accountability for timely, high-quality delivery.
Ensure high-quality execution across the portfolio by setting clear operating models, timelines, decision rights, and standards for program planning, vendor management, compliance, and follow-up.
Drive Performance, Insights, and Cross-Functional Alignment
Define and monitor meaningful measures of P2P, Speaker Bureau, and OL engagement performance, including program quality, reach, utilization, speaker effectiveness, audience feedback, and strategic impact.
Translate field feedback, customer insights, program data, competitive intelligence, and external engagement learnings into clear recommendations to improve OL engagement strategy, P2P content, and execution.
Contribute to annual brand planning, long-range planning, quarterly priorities, and tactical plans by bringing forward customer, scientific, and performance implications.
Represent OL Engagement and P2P Medical Marketing in key franchise forums and communicate performance, emerging risks, opportunities, and recommendations to senior leadership.
Lead and Develop a High-Performing Team
Directly lead, coach, and develop team members responsible for P2P execution and related Medical Marketing workstreams; establish clear priorities, decision rights, accountability, and development plans.
Create an operating model that balances strategic leadership with disciplined execution, enabling the team to manage complex workstreams while maintaining a strong customer and business focus.

Doctorate degree and 2 years of marketing and/or business experience in a role aligned with a Marketing/Sales commercial organization; OR
Master's degree and 4 years of marketing and/or business experience in a role aligned with a Marketing/Sales commercial organization; OR
Bachelor's degree and 6 years of marketing and/or business experience in a role aligned with a Marketing/Sales commercial organization; OR
Associate's degree and 10 years of marketing and/or business experience in a role aligned with a Marketing/Sales commercial organization; OR
High school diploma / GED and 12 years of marketing and/or business experience in a role aligned with a Marketing/Sales commercial organization.
Preferred Qualifications
MBA or other advanced degree preferred.
Demonstrated direct people-management experience, including coaching and developing talent, setting priorities, and leading through change.
Strong Medical Marketing, OL engagement, and P2P expertise, including OL mapping and engagement planning, Speaker Bureau operations, speaker training, marketing-led HCP education, promotional content development, and multichannel education.
Experience leading P2P and marketing-led OL/HCP engagements end-to-end, including congress-based programs, speaker strategy, faculty management, program design, agency/vendor management, budget oversight, performance optimization, and MAC review through systems such as Veeva PromoMats.
Neurology experience preferred; rare disease and launch or in-line brand experience preferred.
Strong strategic thinking, operational rigor, project management, and communication skills, with the ability to lead through influence and deliver across complex, cross-functional workstreams.

The expected annual salary range for this role in the U.S. (excluding Puerto Rico) is posted. Actual salary will vary based on several factors including but not limited to, relevant skills, experience, and qualifications.
