What you will do

Marketing Manager – Lung Cancer

Let’s do this. Let’s change the world for those living with Small Cell Lung Cancer! In this critical role, the Oncology Marketing Manager will be responsible for leading several marketing initiatives including peer to peer speaker programs as well as congress planning and engagement management.

This individual will report to the Marketing Director and will have the opportunity to shape overall brand strategy as a key member of the IMDELLTRA Brand Team. This role will also have ownership of end-to-end execution on marketing initiatives enabling this individual to further develop a well-rounded set of marketing competencies.

This individual will have the opportunity to shape the overall brand strategy as a key member of the IMDELLTRA brand team. This Marketing Manager role is an important and exciting opportunity to contribute to IMDELLTRA’s launch executional efforts in the US. This individual will lead the development and deployment of the IMDELLTRA Congress & OL engagement process.  Additionally, the Marketing Manager will lead the speaker program execution and commercial advisory boards. This role will require significant cross-functional collaboration, project management, and agency management. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a passion for patients and delivering for the business, excellent teamwork and communication skills, and commitment to excellence in marketing, leadership, strategy, and execution.

Key responsibilities for this role include the following:

  • Lead peer-to-peer and speaker program initiatives, including:

    • Manage the speaker bureau and own the brand’s speaker relationships including supporting speaker training, compliance, and product theater speaker management

    • Partner closely with Legal and Regulatory teams to deliver novel speaker program and peer-to-peer materials in accordance with Amgen standards and principles

  • In partnership with the cross functional team, develop, continually refine and implement the Imdelltra congress strategy to effectively and meaningfully educate and engage with our customers specifically - Develop and refine guiding principles to help prioritize presence at key national and regional congresses that align with brand strategy; Create a systematic framework to gather HCP insights post congress execution and; Partner closely with the Lumakras counterparts to coordinate and ensure a One-Thoracic presence at congresses

  • Own the IMDELLTRA congress & OL engagement strategy and pull through, including working with thoracic sales and account marketing teams to prioritize and execute upon critical key congresses and related customer engagement opportunities such as IMDELLTRA board of consultants.

  • Support commercial advisory boards and focus groups to uncover insights and customer feedback on IMDELLTRA's brand strategy and deliverables. Includes work within C3, content development, and CARF management.

  • Lead congress planning and engagement management, encompassing national, local, and APP congresses, and own cross-functional thoracic oncology initiatives to elevate HCP interactions across the US

  • Enhance relationships with key thought leaders in small cell lung cancer (SCLC) and utilize insights gained to develop new content for treaters of SCLC

  • Lead budget management process

  • Lead key IMDELLTRA tactics and updates with cross-functional teams

  • Drive execution of branded speaker programs and product theatres

  • Collaborate with Competitive Intelligence on competitive readiness planning to deliver brand POV & training on competitive entrants and implications

  • Partner closely with MAC/Legal and Regulatory teams to execute materials in accordance with Amgen standards and principles

  • Establish relationships with all agency partners and effectively manage agency; hold partners accountable for high quality work, budget execution, and timelines

  • Demonstrate a sense of shared ownership of overall brand and business unit performance

Basic Qualifications:

Doctorate degree

Or

Master’s degree and 2 years of Marketing and/or business experience in a role aligned with a Marketing/Sales commercial organization

Or

Bachelor’s Degree and 4 years of Marketing and/or business experience in a role aligned with a Marketing/Sales commercial organization

Or

Associate’s Degree and 8 years of Marketing and/or business experience in a role aligned with a Marketing/Sales commercial organization

Or

High school diploma / GED and 10 years of Marketing and/or business experience in a role aligned with a Marketing/Sales commercial organization

The expected annual salary range for this role in the U.S. (excluding Puerto Rico) is posted. Actual salary will vary based on several factors including but not limited to, relevant skills, experience, and qualifications.
