Title: Account Development Manager Oncology - British Columbia

Reports to: Manager, District Sales

Location: BC

What you will do

Let’s do this. Let’s change the world. In this vital role you will be responsible for driving our oncology product clinical growth, account mindset and growing our institutional account base with our current and future Oncology portfolio in the province of BC

Key Accountabilities:

  • Develop our business by expanding the clinical use of Amgen products in Oncology clinics. Responsible for building relationships with: Physicians, Nurses, Pharmacists, Support Groups and Oncology Foundations
  • Promote features and benefits of Amgen’s Oncology products to customers
  • Work closely with Regional Manager and Product Manager to implement marketing plans
  • Work cross-functionally medical and value and access to support the development of key account partnerships
  • Responsible for achievement of monthly sales objectives, writing and implementing territory business plans while keeping CRM up to date
  • Play leadership role within team as it pertains to account model and prioritization approach
  • Leverage key insights to shape account strategy and support brand strategy, adapting on a regular basis
  • Drive cross-functional insight sharing
  • Lead the development and execution of the Account Plan and SMART Goals in the customer facing platform (VEEVA)
  • Create forum to identify synergies within and across cross-functional teams, to maximize impact and efficiencies
  • Actively participate in cross-functional insight sharing to shape brand strategy/POA
  • Demonstrate leadership behaviors fostering account model and customer engagement excellence

Basic Qualifications:

BS or MS degree

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of selling experience in the pharmaceutical market as a specialist representative
  • Oncology experience
  • Previous territory experience
  • Competitive selling skills – track record
  • Experience and excellent track record in hospital account & specialty sales
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Negotiation skills
  • Strong decision making/problem solving skills
  • Leadership skills
  • Team Player
  • Bilingual (French/English)

The annual base salary range for this opportunity in Canada is $133,000 – $153,000 CAD
