What you will do

In this vital role you will lead the strategy for workforce capability, learning, and onboarding across Global Development Operations (GDO), enabling the organization to build the skills, behaviors, and capabilities needed to support ongoing transformation and future business priorities.

Partnering with senior leaders, you will establish scalable capability frameworks, learning strategies, and workforce readiness programs that strengthen organizational effectiveness, accelerate adoption of new ways of working, and deliver measurable business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and lead GDO's workforce capability, competency, and learning strategy aligned to business priorities and future organizational needs.
  • Develop scalable competency frameworks and multi-year capability roadmaps to support workforce planning, career development, and organizational effectiveness.
  • Oversee learning strategy, governance, and demand management, partnering with HR, R&D Learning, Quality, and external providers to deliver impactful development solutions.
  • Lead GDO's onboarding and workforce readiness strategy, driving consistent, role-based experiences and continuous improvement of learning operations.
  • Partner across business functions to strengthen knowledge management, capability development, and adoption of new technologies, including AI and digital transformation.
  • Use workforce and learning analytics to identify capability gaps, measure impact, and inform strategic workforce investment decisions.
  • Build and lead a high-performing team, fostering innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement across workforce capability and learning.

  • Degree educated.
  • Experience in workforce capability, organizational learning, talent development, organizational effectiveness, or related disciplines within global organizations.
  • Proven success developing enterprise capability frameworks, skills strategies, and workforce development initiatives aligned with business objectives.
  • Experience building and scaling workforce capability, learning, or organizational effectiveness functions, including governance and operating models.
  • Strong understanding of future workforce trends, skills-based organizations, digital learning, AI, and workforce analytics.
  • Ability to anticipate future capability needs and translate business strategy into workforce development plans.
  • Strong track record influencing senior leaders and collaborating across HR, learning, quality, compliance, and business functions in complex matrix organizations.
  • Strategic, innovative, and experienced in designing new organizational frameworks and capabilities.
  • Excellent executive presence, communication, consulting, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
