QUALITY COMPLIANCE SENIOR MANAGER – CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT AND INNOVATION

What you will do

In this vital role you will drive continuous improvement and change management within Amgen’s R&D Quality Organization. You will provide expert support to create and manage R&D controlled processes, strengthening R&D quality processes, supporting global business process owners, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and organizational standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives for the Digital Quality Management System (DQMS) in R&D
  • Partner with R&D teams to design and implement process changes and new improvement initiatives
  • Lead projects driven by management reviews or high-impact quality events.
  • Provide expertise in developing, revising, and implementing controlled processes.
  • Guide R&D functions and process owners through organizational change and compliance requirements
  • Collaborate with training and business process leaders to deliver effective communication and training strategies.
  • Manage and analyze data across systems and tools (e.g., Excel, Smartsheet) to support improvement activities.

  • Degree educated
  • Relevant experience and knowledge of GCP, GLP, and/or GPvP
  • Experience with quality management systems and familiarity with project management tools/methodologies
  • Previous experience in Continuous Improvement/Change Management
  • Strong attention to detail, problem-solving and relationship-building skills as well as ability to work independently in fast-paced global settings
  • Proficiency in Smartsheet, MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), and collaboration tools (Teams, WebEx)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
