Sr Associate IS Engineer
Duties: • Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and improve automation solution; • Partner with platform lead and automation engineers to develop automation projects and ensure quality and timely delivery of projects; • Contribute towards efforts to design, build, and develop rapid Proof-of-Concept (POC) automated solutions and services. Quickly and iteratively prove or disprove the concepts being considered; • Work with process subject matter experts (SMEs) to understand key process requirements and transform them into software solutions; • Collaborate with IS and Business partners to understand how software engineering and automation can improve workflow and productivity; • Review functional and technical designs to identify areas of risk and/or missing requirements; • Provide technical write-ups and drawings to promote the proposed solutions; • Collaborate with the other engineering team members to ensure all services are reliable, maintainable, and well-integrated into existing platforms; • Adhere to standard methodologies for testing and designing reusable code; • Adopt agile ways of working practices to align with Scaled Agile framework; • Be constantly curious and feed your passion and interests in ground-breaking technology; • Use your given time to look for new, innovative and automated ways to do business differently, better, and more cost effectively; and • Support the Global Anaplan Platform Owner by collaborating with global business and Information Systems (IS) partners to manage Anaplan Datahub requests and ensure effective platform integration and maintenance. Requirements: Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Data Analytics Engineering or related field & completion of a university-level course, research project, internship, thesis, or one year of experience in the following:
1. Experience with ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) technologies and data pipeline development;
2. Scripting languages including SQL, Python, and R;
3. Experience with data warehousing, business intelligence, and cloud storage technologies including Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery, Tableau, Power BI and AWS S3;
4. Work within Agile methodologies or Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) environments;
5. Software development best practices, including reusable code design and creation of technical documentation;
6. Microsoft Excel, including use of Macros, Pivot Tables, and V-Lookups; and
7. Experience with visualization and analytics tools including Tableau.

Job type: Full Time position. The annual salary range for this position in the U.S. is $136,386.00 per year. Also, this position offers stock, retirement, medical, life and disability insurance and eligibility for an annual bonus or for sales roles, other incentive compensation. The expected annual salary range for this role in the U.S. (excluding Puerto Rico) is posted. Actual salary will vary based on several factors including but not limited to, relevant skills, experience, and qualifications.
