Specialist IS Architect
Duties: Lead the design and architecture efforts for workforce planning and scenario modeling systems to support Amgen’s Workforce Strategy and Planning processes; Collaborate closely with HR and business leaders to understand workforce planning requirements and translate them into scalable and sustainable technology solutions; Drive the implementation and integration of workforce planning tools like Workday Adaptive Planning, Orgvue, and Anaplan Workforce Planning into Amgen's ecosystem; Serve as the technical lead for HR technology projects, ensuring alignment with business needs and Amgen's broader technology strategy; Work independently and mentor less experienced team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation; Participate in the SAFe Agile framework, leading architectural discussions, developing technical roadmaps, and ensuring alignment with product teams; and Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies in HR and workforce planning, recommending and implementing best practices and innovations. Requirements: Master’s degree or (foreign equivalent) in Business Analytics, Information Systems, Computer Science or related field and 2 years of experience in the job offered or in a HR related occupation. The position requires 2 years of experience in the following:
Orgvue design setup by managing baselines for function specific design sessions for the business. Configuration of properties, look up tables and manage access as admin and provide production and integration support;
Anaplan workforce planning, financial planning and strategic workforce planning to assist in leading the requirements for HR transformation project;
Coordinate and perform testing functionality prior to rollout of UAT by building test scripts and validating successful delivery of capabilities while logging change request into SNOW for production release and provide production support and integration support;
Workday or Workday Adaptive workforce planning or HCM;
Coordinate and perform testing functionality prior to rollout of UAT by building test scripts and validating successful delivery of capabilities;
Partner with integration’s team on building exports of data to be consumed into Enterprise Data Fabric and integrating data Workday data to Workday Adaptive;
Experience working within a SAFe Agile framework;
Understanding of Project Management principles and full lifecycle;
Build Technical workflows and roadmaps and leading technical discussions;
Document systems design documents and process for HR technology;
Build scripting language for backend systems with configuration setup for new systems;
DevOps lifecycle experience; and
Workforce planning and modeling to support HR transformation with understanding of planning systems and understanding of full end to end processes.

Job type: Full Time position. The annual salary for this position in the U.S. is $144,278.00– $178,436.00 per year. Also, this position offers stock, retirement, medical, life and disability insurance and eligibility for an annual bonus or for sales roles, other incentive compensation. The expected annual salary range for this role in the U.S. (excluding Puerto Rico) is posted. Actual salary will vary based on several factors including but not limited to, relevant skills, experience, and qualifications.
