Senior Associate – Protein Chemistry
What you will do
Let’s do this. Let’s change the world. In this vital role you will develop and execute high throughput assays to support the pipeline, contribute to the development of innovative solutions to advance our purification, analytics, and molecular assessment capabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Purifying and characterizing novel and complex molecules that will be the next generation of large molecule therapeutics.
- Contributing to the execution of our purification, analytics, and molecular assessment capabilities.
- Analyzing and reporting purification and analytics data to support lead candidate selection.
- Partnering with Project, Data Science, Analytics and Automation teams to advance innovation.
What we expect of you
We are all different, yet we all use our unique contributions to serve patients. The innovative Associate Scientist to join the Protein Therapeutics team we seek is a professional with these qualifications.
Basic Qualifications:
Master’s degree
OR
Bachelor’s degree and 2 years of protein purification, and/or protein analytics experience.
OR
Associate’s degree and 4 years of protein purification, and/or protein analytics experience.
OR
High school diploma / GED and 6 years of protein purification, and/or protein analytics experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Demonstrated experience with protein purification, bioanalytical techniques, and protein characterization.
- Demonstrated effective communication skills, ability to multi-task and work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.
- Demonstrated track record of independent critical thinking and creative problem-solving.
- Familiarity with executing high throughput processes and handling large datasets.
- Familiarity with cell culture or protein engineering is a plus.

The expected annual salary range for this role in the U.S. (excluding Puerto Rico) is posted. Actual salary will vary based on several factors including but not limited to, relevant skills, experience, and qualifications.
