Duties: Develop and apply mathematical and statistical theory and methods to collect, organize, interpret, and summarize data; Partner with cross-functional team members, by guiding discussions on optimized methods for data collection, standardization, governance, and reporting in order to develop innovative, analytical solutions; Direct management and oversight of vendor services, ensuring quality and timeliness of vendor product delivery; Provide insights, business intelligence, and management analytics for effective decision making in alignment with Global Networks and Continuous Improvement strategies; Demonstrate Business Process Owner (BPO) contacts to champion reporting needs; Support study team activities, operating review meetings, and management requests through the delivery of information to support performance progress; Perform quality oversight including quality gate controls validating deployment releases; and Plan, track, and ensure execution of products and services via Functions Service Providers (FSPs). May telecommute.
Requirements: Master’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Statistics, Data Science, Quantitative Sciences, or related field & 2 years of experience in the job offered or in a data science or analytics-related occupation. Position requires 2 years of experience in the following:
1. Statistics including statistical inference and A/B Testing, machine learning algorithms including: Generalized Linear Model, tree-based, ensemble learning, and Natural Language Processing, and deep learning algorithms;
2. Programming languages including: Python, Pandas, scikit-learn, XGboost Natural Language Toolkit, R, and SQL;
3. Analytics and data visualization tools including: Databricks, AWS, Tableau and Power BI;
4. Integrating and analyzing large-scale healthcare datasets, including electronic health records, medical and pharmacy claims including: ICD10 diagnosis codes, procedure codes, National Drug Codes, health plan data, and clinical laboratory results;
5. Building standard data pipeline into centralized analytical platforms or data lakes to enable downstream analytics, health reporting, and Machine Learning use cases;
6. Developing automated health reporting solutions using business intelligence or visualization tools including: Tableau and Power BI to monitor population health, program performance, and operational Key Performance Indicators;
7. Designing and implementing risk scores, health economics metrics, and health analytics to support population health management, financial performance, and clinical decision-making;
8. Developing and deploying end-to-end machine learning and advanced statistical models to solve healthcare or biopharmaceutical challenges and support clinical care and disease management;
9. Modern analytics and MLOps platforms or frameworks including: Databricks, MLflow, and Airflow to build, deploy, and monitor data and Machine Learning pipelines in production environments;
10. Leading data science or analytics initiatives in healthcare or biopharmaceutical setting, including translating complex clinical and business problems into analytics roadmaps and artificial intelligence and machine learning use cases; and
11. Collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders to define requirements, interpret analytic results, and drive implementation and adoption of analytic solutions.

Job type: Full Time position. The annual salary range for this position in the U.S. is $130,065.00 – $155,856.00 per year. Also, this position offers stock, retirement, medical, life and disability insurance and eligibility for an annual bonus or for sales roles, other incentive compensation. The expected annual salary range for this role in the U.S. (excluding Puerto Rico) is posted. Actual salary will vary based on several factors including but not limited to, relevant skills, experience, and qualifications.
