CDnA - Associate Director Portfolio Insights

What you will do

Let’s do this. Let’s change the world. In this vital role you will lead insights generation through multitude of data sources and engage several cross-functional colleagues to develop a comprehensive understanding of performance and provide strategical / tactical recommendations to drive it. This role will enable the organization to make real-time strategic choices and reach more appropriate patients through efficient promotion. In addition, you will develop capabilities to drive execution excellence across portfolio and lead through change management to help capitalize on opportunities through rapid action.

Flexible Commuter role to Thousand Oaks, CA office. You will work on-site 2-3 days a week.

  • Utilizing strong data (prescriptions, unit volume, patient claims, patient and market access, SP, EHR, etc.) and tool (SQL, R, Tableau, etc.) understanding to extract meaningful insights to drive business across portfolio or specific brands
  • Employing advanced analytical methods to analyze and provide actionable insights to senior stakeholders. Also, standardizing outputs to be able to replicate with ease
  • Leveraging expertise to integrate findings from various departments to provide a comprehensive view of market dynamics and inform decision-making process
  • Engaging with several colleagues and stakeholders to ensure alignment with business objectives and seamless project execution
  • Translating complex analytical findings into clear, impactful insights that influence key stakeholders and support data-driven decision-making.
  • Proactively identifying potential areas for improvement, developing creative strategies to address complex challenges, and implementing practical solutions that enhance efficiency and effectiveness
  • Managing multiple cross-functional projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating strong organizational skills and adaptability
  • Assessing existing processes and frameworks to help identify areas of opportunity

Helping advance CD&A’s capability across all functions through constant evolution and improve strategies and operations

What we expect of you

We are all different, yet we all use our unique contributions to serve patients. The analytical professional we seek is a collaborator with these qualifications.

Basic Qualifications:

Doctorate degree and 3 years of analytics experience

OR

Master’s degree and 7 years of analytics experience

OR

Bachelor’s degree and 9 years of analytics experience

Associate’s degree and 12 years of analytics experience

OR

High school diploma / GED and 14 years of analytics experience

In addition to meeting at least one of the above requirements, you must have a minimum of 3 years experience directly managing people and/or leadership experience leading teams, projects, programs, or directing the allocation or resources. Your managerial experience may run concurrently with the required technical experience referenced above

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advanced Analytical Skills: Proficiency in advanced statistical techniques and analytical tools, with a proven ability to translate complex data into strategic insights.
  • Proficiency in secondary data analysis with intimate knowledge of a variety of industry secondary data sources (e.g., Claims, Prescription, Specialty Pharmacy, etc.).
  • Strong working knowledge of Tableau, SQL, SAS, or R.
  • Leadership: Demonstrated leadership abilities, including experience in mentoring and developing junior analysts, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment.
  • Strategic Vision: Strong strategic thinking and vision, with a track record of developing and implementing innovative strategies that have driven business success.
  • Communication Excellence: Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex information clearly and persuasively to senior partners.
  • Patient-Centric Approach: Deep commitment to improving patient outcomes, with experience in patient-centered research and development of treatments that address unmet medical needs.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Proven ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams, collaborating with marketing, sales, finance, and other departments to achieve common goals.
  • Adaptability and Agility: Demonstrated flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with the ability to quickly respond to changing market conditions and organizational priorities.
  • Ethical Standards: A strong commitment to maintaining the highest ethical standards in all analyses and business practices, ensuring unbiased and objective decision-making.

The expected annual salary range for this role in the U.S. (excluding Puerto Rico) is posted. Actual salary will vary based on several factors including but not limited to, relevant skills, experience, and qualifications.
