Associate Manufacturing – Automation Engineer

In this vital newly created role, the Associate Manufacturing – Automation Engineer, will be accountable for defining, implementing and driving industrial automation across all clinical assembly and packaging operations.
Work closely across multiple unit operations including device build, label & pack, print and line owners to execute a diverse portfolio of automation projects
Identify automation opportunities to optimize workflows and protocols to increase throughput on the packaging lines
Define, drive, and deliver the automation and process control strategy within assembly and packaging.
Leverage standard automation technical principles to devise new solutions
Evaluate procedural improvement opportunities
Conduct function testing, including writing protocol and reports
Monitoring developments in the field & evaluating new technologies
Apply continuous improvement practices to enhance overall operations

Basic Qualifications:
High school diploma / GED and 6 years of Scientific experience OR
Associate’s degree and 4 years of Scientific experience OR
Bachelor’s degree
Preferred Qualifications:
Educational background in Engineering and/or Life Science
Leadership and teambuilding
Analytical Problem Solving and adaptability skills
Strong time management, organization and prioritization skills
Digital Literacy with computer skills
Familiarity with Microsoft Office and collaboration tools (e.g., PowerPoint, Microsoft Teams, Smartsheet, Tableau)
Project Management Experience
Good communication skills and writing skills
Can do attitude. Proactiveness.

The expected annual salary range for this role in the U.S. (excluding Puerto Rico) is posted. Actual salary will vary based on several factors including but not limited to, relevant skills, experience, and qualifications.
