What you will do
Technology Business Analyst (contractor) will partner with commercial teams to enable sales execution and marketing operations through digital solutions, automation, and AI-enabled capabilities, while owning the local end-user technology experience and support operations.
Main Responsibilities:
End-User Technology & Support Operations
Serve as the primary escalation point and coordinator for issues reported by helpdesk engineers, covering end-user devices and workplace technology, including Windows laptops, Apple mobile devices, printers, and conferencing equipment.
Provide hands-on troubleshooting support when required across Windows systems, Apple iOS/iPadOS devices, conferencing systems, and workstation setups.
Supervise helpdesk engineers from an external service provider and coordinate with the regional Customer Care & Experience (CCE) Manager on operational initiatives and service improvements.
Own the end-user technology experience locally, ensuring Taiwan-specific requirements are clearly articulated to global teams while adhering to Amgen’s global technology compliance, cybersecurity, and data hygiene standards.
Operational Readiness & Documentation
Manage inventory for mobile devices and accessories, including annual demand forecasting and monthly procurement activities.
Create, maintain, and continuously improve user guides, technical documentation, and self-service materials to support both users and support teams.
Conduct new hire technology onboarding sessions and manage offboarding processes.
Secondary Responsibilities
Commercial Enablement & Digital Solutions
Partner with commercial teams to understand business processes and requirements, translating them into scalable digital, automation, and AI-enabled solutions that support sales execution, marketing operations, and field effectiveness.
Identify, analyze, and prioritize technology pain points across commercial workflows, driving improvements through automation, AI enhancements, and platform optimization.
Act as a business-facing technology partner, enabling commercial users to successfully adopt new digital tools, analytics, and automation-driven processes through user engagement, enablement, and continuous feedback loops.
Automation & AI Delivery
Design, build, test, and enhance automation and AI initiatives, supporting the full lifecycle from requirements gathering and user testing to pilot runs, production launch, and post-launch optimization.
Collaborate closely with the Technology Lead to co-develop and continuously improve commercial automation solutions, progressively taking ownership of defined workflows or solution components.
Support automation and AI project delivery by coordinating user testing, validating business logic, and incorporating stakeholder feedback into iterative solution improvements.

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree. Relevant academic background is a plus, but candidates from diverse fields are encouraged to apply.
Demonstrated experience partnering with commercial functions to translate business needs into digital, automated, or AI-enabled solutions, with a focus on driving user adoption.
Exposure to low-code/no-code development, workflow automation, or AI-enabled solutions.
Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365, SharePoint Online, Microsoft Teams, Power Platform, Apple OS, and other enterprise cloud technologies.
Familiarity with ITIL principles, service management processes, and platforms such as ServiceNow.
Strong ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical users, effectively bridging business and technology.
A strong builder mindset: self-driven, curious about emerging technologies, comfortable learning new tools independently, and eager to apply them to real business problems in a fast-changing environment.
Experience working in Agile or cross-functional teams delivering solutions incrementally, with comfort operating in environments that prioritize early value delivery, evolving requirements, and continuous stakeholder feedback; prior Agile experience is a strong plus.
