Are you a strategic financial expert who enjoys empowering business leaders with actionable insights? Join Amgen as a Senior Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) Manager and help drive our growth and success.
In this role, you will collaborate closely with business partners to develop financial models and provide consultative guidance for decision-making. You will lead all aspects of reporting processes—including regional submissions for quarterly reports, forecasts, budgets, and long-range plans—and provide mentorship to your direct report.
Key Responsibilities include:
Lead annual budgets, quarterly forecasts and long range planning
Build financial models and deliver insights to support decision-making
Partner with business leaders to drive performance across all functions
Prepare and present business reviews with strategic financial analysis
Evaluate new opportunities and support commercial decision-making
Oversee KPI analysis and ensure accurate financial data consolidation
Drive FP&A operational improvements and lead local/regional projects
Lead, mentor and develop a impactful FP&A team

Degree in Accounting, Business, or related field
Proven experience in a similar role with a global Pharmaceutical/Biotech company.
Demonstrable people management skills in developing a high performing team.
Strong background in budgeting, planning and management accounting
Skilled in financial systems including SAP, Hyperion and ideally Anaplan
Proficient in MS Office suite – Excel, Word and PowerPoint
Excellent communication and collaboration skills across global teams
Knowledge of US GAAP, tax (especially VAT), and finance regulations
Fluent in English (written and spoken)
Residency, and work rights in Australia essential
