What you will do

The JAPAC Field Medical Excellence Capabilities Lead reports to the Head of Global Field Medical Excellence and partners with JAPAC Medical leadership to empower a high-performing, future-ready Field Medical organization. This role strengthens the capabilities and frameworks that enable consistent, agile, and measurable Field Medical impact across diverse markets. By connecting global strategy with local needs, the role helps Field Medical deliver scientific value, elevate stakeholder engagement, and advance its value proposition across JAPAC. 

Key responsibilities include:

• Lead global Field Medical Excellence initiatives that translate enterprise strategy into local execution and maximize Field Medical impact across markets.
• Define and optimize field engagement processes, including stakeholder profiling, engagement planning, documentation, analytics, and insight generation.
• Partner with global, regional, and local stakeholders to align Field Medical strategy, systems, operating models, and ways of working.
• Drive adoption of technology and AI-enabled solutions to enhance Field Medical productivity, engagement quality, insight generation, coaching, and workflow efficiency.
• Strengthen insight generation capabilities by embedding consistent frameworks, feedback loops, and AI-supported analysis into Field Medical practice.
• Evolve Field Medical performance and impact metrics, integrating quantitative execution measures with qualitative scientific and clinical impact indicators.
• Champion Field Medical-led innovation, local market needs, and best practices to inform global strategy and advance the Field Medical value proposition.
• Foster Field Medical capability building, talent development, community engagement, and cross-functional collaboration through training, coaching, networks, and recognition programs.

What we expect of you

Basic Qualifications:

• Doctorate degree and 2 years of Medical Affairs experience OR
• Master’s degree and 4 years of Medical Affairs experience OR
• Bachelor’s degree and 6 years of Medical Affairs experience

Preferred Qualifications:

• Ph. D., M.D., Pharm. D., or D.O. in a medical field
• 3 or more years of clinical and/or scientific experience
• 2 or more years as a Medical Science Liaison or other Medical Capabilities work
