Scope of Role

  • Manage product distribution logistics with Amgen global contacts, distributors, and logistic service providers.
  • Import/Export activities and local transportation.
  • Serialization activities governance.
  • Cold Chain Management.
  • Order-to-Cash process with Distributors and other customer service activities.
  • Distributor/LSP Partnership management and ensure GMP/GSP compliance.
  • Continuous Improvement (Quality, Time, Cost).
  • Responsible for being aligned in CTETS/QE/Deviation/CAPA/CCMS.
  • Project management.
  • KPI and Reporting.

List of Tasks

  • Coordinate shipments to the country with the supply sites, logistics HUBs, the forwarder, and the distributors. Prepare relevant paperwork.
  • Manage import/export activities of commercial drug products, registration testing samples, lab reagents etc. materials. Service as Subject-Matter-Expert.
  • Monitor stock level at country Distributor/Sub-Distributors, manage LSP activities to ensure alignment between logistics operations and supply continuity plan.
  • Manage the importation and distribution of Donation programs with relevant charity organization.
  • Manage product returns in-market and to sites outside China, as requested by business.
  • Coordinate import testing activities with Amgen Quality, LSP, and government labs.
  • Oversee the in-country distribution to ensure Amgen products are handled according to quality and cold chain requirements and in compliance to GDP.
  • Oversee in-country cold chain distribution capability to ensure product is delivered safely to patient.
  • Coordinate product serialization activities.
  • Develop and maintain excellent relationships with internal and external customers.
  • Develop and maintain Standard Operation Procedures or other form of work instructions.
  • Support on audit and inspections with IDQ and compliance.
  • Manage and coordinate supply chain projects.
  • Manage KPIs and reporting.

Knowledge and Skills

  • Pharmaceutical supply chain management.
  • GMP/GSP/GDP.
  • Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
  • ERP system, experience in SAP implementation is preferred
  • Experience in drug Importation process and execution.
  • Cold chain management.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Motivated self-starter who can influence and change in an ambiguous environment
  • Resilience.
  • Effective verbal, written, and listening communications skills in local language (Mandarin) and English

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 3~5+ years supply chain experience, preferably with pharmaceutical companies.
  • English (business proficiency) is required
  • APICS (CPIM, CSCP, CLTD) certification is a plus

  • Participating in conference calls, outside working hours
  • May require occasional business travel
  • Full time position
