MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

Position Summary

A leader of TEPEZZA launch team in South Korea as marketing to drive the launch / after launch of TEPEZZA (teprotumumab) for the treatment of thyroid eye disease (TED). Leading, developing and executing marketing strategies / tactics to achieve the most successful launch of TEPEZZA including market access and advocacy development with external stakeholders through gaining deep insight of TED treatment as a Rare Disease and shaping the treatment landscape for better patient outcome.

Job Description

  • Lead TEPEZZA launch cross-functional brand team in South Korea and achieve the best launch outcome of TEPEZZA for maximum patient benefits and impact

  • Contribute to JAPAC Rare Disease Hub as one of core members of Hub team to prepare for the best launch of TEPEZZA in JAPAC Region in collaboration with other key affiliates until L-0

  • Develop annual brand plan, programs and tactics aligned strategies to support TEPEZZA launch process, including HCP education, HCP to patient education and disease enlightenment for potential TED patient and its family members.

  • Actively participate in developing and executing innovative market access strategies through strong partnership and collaboration with internal stakeholders and external stakeholders by shaping the ecosystem

  • Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of the disease state, competitive landscape, and therapeutic management of the space.

  • Partner with internal, cross-functional team in the execution of professional marketing strategies and tactics to ensure strong HCP, nurse, and patient adoption of TEPEZZA.

  • Inspire and lead a cross-functional Launch Readiness teams on execution of initiatives to support TEPEZZA adoption across core prescriber specialties, including subspecialty ophthalmologists and endocrinologists.

  • Leverage business insights and expert feedback to provide active input into the development and review of brand strategy, tactical plans, and the financial plan.

  • Manage external partners (ad agency, meeting planners, market research, consultants) to ensure integration and consistency of strategies, message, and tactics, in addition to working to ensure timeliness of deliverables.

  • Ensure that all marketing campaigns including materials meet Amgen Healthcare Compliance guideline and local regulations.

  • Demonstrate strong engagement with both Ophthalmologist / Endocrinologist KOLs and effectively disseminate TED and TEPEZZA education who is suffering from TED

  • Proactively generate ideas for, drive Korea initiated marketing innovation, and contribute to Amgen JAPAC / Global by sharing the best practices from Korea

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field such as pharmacy, biology, and so on. MBA a plus.

  • 7-10+ years of experience in marketing in the pharmaceutical industry

  • Successful track record in new product launch, reimbursement, and expansion in South Korea, rare diseases experience strongly preferred.

  • Ophthalmology, Endocrinology, Rheumatology, and/or Biologic specialty product marketing or sales, project management and working with cross cultural global team experience is preferred.

  • Experience working with multiple projects and managing multiple external vendors.

  • Must have strong strategic planning, project management, communication, and organization skills. Flexibility to work in a fluid, fast-paced environment with multiple demands with initiative and independence required.

  • Ability to develop and execute on the principles of brand management, including brand positioning, messaging.

  • Excellent leadership with team-oriented attitude, aiming high, and positively influence others to deliver the best team performance.

  • Advanced level of strategic thinking, logical thinking, analytical skills, and decision-making skills

  • Strong interpersonal skills and professional, proactive demeanor.

  • Language: Korean, English

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
