Medical, Value & Access Liaison

What You Will Do

The Medical, Value & Access Liaison is a position within the Medical Affairs department that acts within key institutions as a facilitator for the osteoporosis patient journey, being responsible for identifying key decision‑making stakeholders in the process, establishing a stakeholder engagement plan for each of them, creating an influence matrix, mapping the existing patient journey, and identifying leverage points to propose medical activities focused on education and barrier removal. In addition, the MVAL must ensure that patients navigate appropriately within institutions and receive the correct treatment for osteoporosis, carrying out the role in full alignment with the Cross‑Functional Team, with whom they will build the necessary bridges to enable end‑to‑end treatment for osteoporosis patients.

Key Responsibilities

Patient Journey Optimization

  • Identify, build, and maintain relationships with every decision-maker involved in the patient journey. It includes but is not limited to physicians, nurses and pharmacists.
  • Create an influence matrix and map existing patient journey inside Key Healthcare Institutions.
  • Collaborate with Healthcare Professionals to identify leverage points and remove barriers across the patient journey inside Key Healthcare Institutions.
  • Co-create and implement solutions with internal and external stakeholders that improve diagnosis, adherence and overall patient treatment outcomes.
  • Support clinical guideline discussions and development, including PCDT (Clinical Protocol and Therapeutic Guidelines) implementation, Public Consultations, as well as evidence-based medicine.
  • Partner with internal teams (PSP, Gov Affairs, MKT, Market Access, Sales and Medical) to align strategic insights and ensure coordinated communication across functions.
  • Act as a strategic connector, through insights generation on field, between external healthcare systems and internal evidence-generation teams to optimize health outcomes and system efficiency.
  • Serve as the voice of Health Care community inside organization by relaying insights about clinical and evolving patient access challenges. 

What We Expect from You

We value diversity and unique contributions to serve patients. The qualified professional we seek is a Medical Science Liaison with the following qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree and previous experience as Medical Science Liaison.  

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Academic background: Completed degree in a health-related field (Medicine, Pharmacy, Biology, Biochemistry, Genetics, Biomedicine, etc.)
  • Previous experience of 2 to 3 years as an MSL is a must, preferably in therapeutic areas such as rheumatology, orthopedics, or endocrinology.
  • Advanced English proficiency
  • Knowledge and previous experience in access and in building the patient journey within the public healthcare sector is highly valued.
