We will give you the opportunity to gain experience in a vibrant multinational Bio-Pharmaceutical company in Søborg with focus on medical device design. Our Combination Product Operations is passionate about groundbreaking technology for drug delivery.

We are looking for a student worker that can support our Denmark Engineering team with testing and modeling that supports the decisions around medical device design and materials. The main responsibilities include:

  • Test preparation – Preparation of samples (medical device components, material coupons…) to follow the test procedure
  • Performance of test.
  • Analysis of test data.
  • Creation of representative In-Silico models (through mathematical modelling or finite element model)
  • Calibration of In-Silico models.
  • Other Ad-Hoc tasks.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

Amgen requires that all individuals applying for the Student position at Amgen must meet the following criteria:

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s (or starting a Master’s) degree in Mechanical Engineering, Design and Innovation or related field in a Danish university.
  • Good knowledge of verbal and written English.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Passionate about mechanical and device design.
  • Interest in a hands-on experience in a laboratory.
  • Interest in mathematical modelling.
  • Thorough time-management skills.
  • Strong work-ethic.
