Canada - Mississauga Apply NowJoin Amgen’s Mission of Serving Patients
At Amgen, if you feel like you’re part of something bigger, it’s because you are. Our shared mission—to serve patients—drives all that we do.
Amgen Canada (Mississauga) is building a Student Intern Talent Community Event to connect graduating and recent graduates with leaders across multiple functions. Selected applicants will be invited to an in‑office Meet & Greet to learn about Amgen, explore career paths, and help us understand student interests for future internship opportunities that will be posted in the future.
Role: Meet and Greet with Amgen Canada Leadership (Networking Event by Invitation)
Location: Mississauga, ON (in-office Meet & Greet)
Application Window: April 1–5, 2026
Meet & Greet Date: Friday, May 1, 2026
Cohort Size: 9–12 students/new grads (selected by invitation)
Important: This is not an active internship job posting. This is a networking and screening event to source interest. Specific internship roles may be posted later, once budget and openings are confirmed. Participation does not guarantee an offer.
What you will do
Let’s do this. Let’s change the world. In this networking experience, you will:
- Meet Amgen Canada leaders and team members and learn what we do and how we work across functions
- Share your areas of interest and strengths through short, structured conversations
- Explore future ~6‑month internship possibilities and learn how roles are posted and filled
- Ask questions and build your professional network in biotech and healthcare
Areas you can express interest in (examples)
- Finance & reporting / process improvement (Excel; Tableau/Power BI; interest in AI‑enabled efficiencies a plus)
- Corporate Communications / Corporate Affairs (strong writing; social/content support; basic design skills a plus)
- Customer Capabilities / Digital (AI‑curious: content, personas/scenarios, testing/QA, documentation)
- Patient Services / Value & Access analytics (metrics, reporting, analysis; Excel/database skills a plus)
- Additional functions will be added based on business needs (eg. HR, Sales, Marketing, Medical)

- Professional communicator with a positive, can‑do approach
Preferred (nice to have):
- Interest or experience in analytics, communications, digital/AI tools, or project support
