Role: Grad Intern - Patient Services/Value & Access (Reporting & Analytics Support)

Location: Mississauga Flexible Commuter

Reports to: Senior Manager, Patient Services
Duration: 6–8 months
Start window: May–Dec 2026

What you will do

In this vital role, you will support reporting and analysis within the Patient Services team, working closely with the PSP Analyst lead. You’ll help maintain core performance reporting and support timely analysis requests, bringing a fresh perspective to long‑standing reporting to uncover new insights.

Key responsibilities

  • Maintain ongoing reporting for standard PSP operations (current suite of PSP performance metrics).
  • Support BU stakeholders with timely requests for additional analysis (e.g., adoption of digital PSP tools).
  • Help improve data quality and reporting efficiency (e.g., streamlining inputs, clarifying definitions, documenting changes).
  • Contribute ideas for new views/insights that help teams make decisions that support patients.

Tools & skills you’ll use (examples)

  • Excel (analysis, pivots, lookups)
  • Tableau or Power BI (asset)
  • Database analysis (asset)
  • Clear written communication for insights and documentation

What we expect of you

We are all different, yet we all use our unique contributions to serve patients. The intern we seek is a person with these qualifications.

Basic qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in (or recently graduated from within the last 3 years) an undergraduate or graduate program in Business, Health Sciences, Public Health, Analytics, Statistics, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and comfort working with large tables of data.
  • Strong analytical thinking and ability to summarize insights clearly for non-technical audiences.
  • Organized, reliable, and able to manage multiple requests and deadlines.

Preferred qualifications

  • Experience with database analysis is an asset.
  • Exposure to Tableau and/or Power BI (building or supporting reports).
  • Exposure to Salesforce CRM platforms is an asset.
  • Curiosity about automation/AI tools to improve reporting efficiency (within responsible use guidelines).

The salary range for this position is $58000 – $72000 CAD.
