This could be your everyday

You will join the Human Resources Department of Amgen Italy, supporting the HR team particularly in activities such as administration and welfare, personnel management, and contributing to the optimization and simplification of HR processes with a continuous improvement approach. You will receive training and guidance to acquire basic skills related to human resources management and organization and will gain insight into corporate dynamics in continuity with the theoretical knowledge acquired during university studies.

You will be supported by a tutor in carrying out the following activities:

  • Administrative personnel management: operational support in ordinary procedures (e.g., registration and termination with healthcare funds, meal voucher management, onboarding form completion) and extraordinary procedures (e.g., preparation and submission of tax certificates, periodic obligations).
  • Support in managing corporate insurance: collaboration in activities related to policy management, updating information/data, and communications with employees and suppliers.
  • Corporate welfare: assistance in managing and communicating welfare initiatives and related employee benefits.
  • HR reporting and data analysis: preparation of reports and metrics, updating databases and company systems, and using digital tools for data analysis and presentation.
  • Management of digital HR systems (Workday, Zucchetti, etc.): support in entering, updating, and maintaining information within Human Capital Management systems.
  • Optimization and simplification of HR processes: support in designing and implementing actions for optimizing, simplifying, and continuously improving HR processes, using digital tools (e.g., artificial intelligence, DocuSign, Workday, etc.) and/or local best practices.
  • Data management and decision-making support: activities involving the collection, organization, and processing of HR data to support decision-making processes and HR plans.
  • HR communication and initiatives: collaboration in drafting and distributing internal communications (e.g., organizational announcements, HR newsletters), as well as preparing presentations and materials for HR projects.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a focus on Human Resources Management, or in Psychology, Economics, or Law, with a strong interest in organizational behavior and HR practices.
  • Enrollment in or admission to a Master’s program in Human Resources, Organization, or Personnel Management will be considered a plus.
  • Previous experience, even brief, in HR or within companies in the pharmaceutical or biomedical sector will be an advantage.
  • We are looking for a proactive and organized individual with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. The internship will involve participation in cross-functional HR projects as well as day-to-day operational activities.
  • A good command of English, both written and spoken, is required to communicate with colleagues and handle international documentation.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel (formulas, pivot tables) and PowerPoint (professional presentations), is essential. Familiarity with digital HR tools such as SAP, Workday, or Zucchetti will be considered an asset.
