What you will do

Accountabilities

  • Maximizes sales of Amgen’s products (Blincyto) in territory (South Italy)
  • Reporting to Brand and Sales Lead Blincyto, shares and is regularly consulted internally by peers on improving message content and delivery.
  • Exhibits a high level of expertise on territory planning & account plan in line with marketing strategy – Mentors others 
  • Networks and develops effective long standing relationship internal & external
  • Collaborates with territory team members and manage internal stakeholders to execute product strategy and territorial activities
  • Works with marketing to develop best practices
  • Disseminates an in-depth knowledge of how hospital operate.
  • Shares experience with others.
  • Develop creative ideas for  meeting topics & formats
  • Lives the Amgen Values, is Role model, plays as a coach

Authority

  • Implementation of the approved POA/key account plans
  • Negotiations on behalf of Amgen, within established guidelines
  • Implementation of planned promotional spending (unplanned or significant expenses require further discussion with brand and sales lead)

  • Development of  large, key and high-potential territories
  • Performance in accordance with job description and POA objectives
  • High quality internal and external customer relationships; internal  sales role model- sharing of best practices; promotion/image of Amgen in line with Amgen Values

Minimum Requirements

  • Minimum 3+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry in a customer facing or marketing role in Hematology Therapeutic Area
  • Bachelor’s degree in life science or (bio) medical sciences in agreement with Italian law for the role
  • Experience with Computer Systems (CRM databases and MS Office)
  • Experience with digital communication tools and omnichannel strategies
  • Fluency in local language
  • Advanced presentation skills
  • Relevant local legal qualification
  • Express the motivation to coach and mentor others

Preferred Requirements

  • In-depth industry and sales practices knowledge
  • Detailed knowledge of and experience in a hospital environment (NB minimum requirement for hospital-based markets)
  • Knowledge of Customer Relation Management principles
  • Experience in interacting with various disciplines and organizational  levels
  • Experience in project management
