Senior Marketing Manager, Global Marketing – Oncology (LUMAKRAS)
What you will do
Let's do this. Let's change the world.
In this vital role, the Senior Marketing Manager, Global Marketing will be a key member of the Global Oncology Marketing team supporting LUMAKRAS during an important period of brand evolution and launch preparation.
This role offers a unique opportunity to help shape global strategy for two anticipated first line launches in NSCLC and metastatic colorectal cancer, each presenting distinct strategic and commercial challenges. The successful candidate will help determine how LUMAKRAS can compete in an increasingly dynamic NSCLC market while also addressing treatment practice and behavior barriers that may affect adoption in CRC.
Reporting to the Global Marketing Director, this individual will have meaningful strategic responsibility across both first line indications, leading global marketing workstreams that translate market, customer, competitive, and clinical insights into clear strategic choices and launch plans. The role will provide broad exposure to global brand strategy, launch planning, lifecycle management, competitive strategy, and cross functional leadership.
The Senior Marketing Manager will also play an important role in connecting strategy to execution across the organization. This includes managing key Integrated Brand Team and Brand Working Group forums, partnering with regional and affiliate teams to incorporate market perspectives into global strategy and launch preparation, and ensuring decisions and plans are translated into coordinated action.
As clinical evidence, competitive dynamics, and customer insights evolve, this individual will help continuously refine the brand strategy and associated global deliverables to ensure LUMAKRAS remains responsive to a changing treatment landscape.
Key Responsibilities
The responsibilities below represent key focus areas of the role and are not intended to be exhaustive. As business needs evolve, the successful candidate will demonstrate flexibility and agility by taking on additional responsibilities and leading new initiatives that support the needs of the organization.
Global Brand Strategy and Strategic Planning
Lead global marketing workstreams supporting development, refinement, and execution of the LUMAKRAS global brand strategy across NSCLC and CRC.
Translate customer, market, competitive, clinical, and affiliate insights into clear strategic implications, choices, and recommendations for the brand.
Partner with the Global Marketing Director and cross functional stakeholders to identify emerging opportunities, challenges, and strategic considerations across the LUMAKRAS lifecycle.
Continuously assess assumptions underlying the brand strategy and recommend adjustments as the treatment landscape, evidence base, customer behaviors, and competitive environment evolve.
Help define where and how LUMAKRAS can create differentiated value across indications and markets, connecting strategic choices to measurable business objectives.
First Line Launch Strategy and Readiness
Support global launch strategy and readiness workstreams across anticipated first line NSCLC and CRC indications.
Help shape strategies that address the distinct adoption challenges of each market, including increasing competitive intensity in NSCLC and treatment practice and behavior barriers that may affect adoption in CRC.
Translate launch strategy into clear critical success factors, key decisions, risks, mitigation plans, and global deliverables.
Partner across Marketing, Medical, Value & Access, Commercial Excellence, Regions, and Affiliates to integrate functional and market perspectives into global launch planning.
Support global to local launch readiness by ensuring markets have the strategic direction, insights, resources, and global guidance needed to develop locally relevant launch plans.
Capture and apply launch learnings across markets to continuously strengthen global strategy and execution.
Market, Customer, and Competitive Strategy
Maintain a strong understanding of evolving NSCLC and CRC treatment landscapes, customer behaviors, competitive developments, and market dynamics and assess their implications for LUMAKRAS strategy.
Partner with Competitive Intelligence, Commercial Data and Analytics, Medical, regional teams, and affiliates to identify emerging developments that could materially affect launch strategy, positioning, or execution.
Translate insights into strategic recommendations, scenarios, and potential responses that enable the organization to anticipate changes in the market.
Lead or support strategic workshops, market working sessions, and scenario planning designed to pressure test assumptions and strengthen brand and launch strategy.
Positioning and Messaging Evolution
Lead or support evolution of LUMAKRAS positioning strategy and messaging as clinical evidence, competitive profiles, customer insights, and market dynamics evolve.
Ensure messaging remains grounded in approved evidence and aligned with the broader brand strategy and intended customer behavior change.
Partner with Medical, Regulatory, Legal, and other appropriate stakeholders to develop and refine global communication frameworks and resources.
Ensure changes to positioning and messaging are informed by clear strategic rationale rather than developed as standalone communication exercises.
Global to Local Strategy and Affiliate Partnership
Build strong partnerships with regional and affiliate marketing teams to incorporate relevant market perspectives and insights into global strategy and launch planning.
Manage LUMAKRAS Integrated Brand Team and Brand Working Group meetings, including meeting planning, agenda development, coordination of strategic discussions, and follow through on decisions and actions.
Facilitate alignment, sharing of launch learnings, and exchange of best practices across functions and markets.
Develop global guidance and strategic resources that enable affiliates to translate global strategy into locally relevant plans.
Operational Excellence
Manage agency partners, project plans, budgets, timelines, and deliverables across assigned workstreams.
Leverage AI enabled tools, analytics, and digital technologies where appropriate to strengthen insight generation, strategic planning, and operational efficiency.
Manage multiple complex workstreams simultaneously while maintaining quality, strategic focus, and responsiveness to changing business needs.
Culture and Team Contribution
Foster a collaborative, inclusive, and engaging team environment that encourages trust, accountability, and shared success.
Build strong relationships across functions, regions, and affiliate markets that promote teamwork and accelerate execution.
