What You Will Do

Let's do this. Let's change the world. In the context of a rapidly evolving payer environment, Amgen's emphasis on geographic expansion, and a commitment to demonstrate product value, Amgen requires an increasingly sophisticated reimbursement and pricing capability to support market access strategies as an important source of competitive advantage.

The Global Integrated Access Strategy team, within the Global Value Access function, is committed to excellence in this capability in order to position Amgen for continued success. This global team is responsible for strategic planning of value and access for Amgen molecules in development, beginning in Phase I-II and extending throughout commercialization across the Amgen portfolio. This work also includes lifecycle planning and access support for inline products. Additionally, the team is responsible for global strategic pricing, including recommendations for global price policies and launch sequence, and for delivering above-brand initiatives to build strategic capabilities.

In this vital role, the Director will serve as the Integrated Access Strategy Lead for a defined subsection of the overall IMDELLTRA Patient Impact Expansion (PIE) and Lung Pipeline, with primary responsibility for indication expansion workstreams. The Director will report to the Global Value and Access Thoracic Platform Access lead and will represent payer needs and perspectives across cross-functional IMDELLTRA PIE and thoracic Pipeline planning.

The Director will lead and coordinate cross-functional efforts within Global Value Access to support the access planning process for assigned IMDELLTRA PIE and Lung Pipeline, including situation analysis, creation of access strategies, identification of critical success factors, development of pricing guidance, and maintenance of price policy. The individual will collaborate with program leadership and cross-functional partners to reflect payer value drivers in clinical development planning, evidence-generation strategy, lifecycle planning, and key value demonstration activities.

This opportunity will involve significant interaction with top markets and regional teams to support access launch readiness and execution for assigned indication-expansion opportunities. The individual will be responsible for pricing and access assumptions in global revenue forecasts for assigned workstreams, and will oversee and conduct relevant payer and pricing market research. In partnership with HEOR and other evidence-generation partners, the Director will integrate clinical, market, and payer information to develop and communicate access plans that support the IMDELLTRA program and Lung Pipeline.

The Director will work collaboratively across functions to ensure a comprehensive view of assigned IMDELLTRA PIE and Lung Pipeline and to create and maintain strong working relationships with key stakeholders. These stakeholders include global colleagues in marketing, development, HEOR, regulatory, operations, advocacy, government affairs, medical, and finance, as well as key markets and regional Value & Access colleagues within the US, Europe, Canada, Japan, Asia-Pacific, Australia, and other markets.

In addition, the Director will support selected projects across the broader IMDELLTRA program. These projects may include market or product assessments, access policy and payer-environment readiness, evidence and value story development, launch sequencing, pricing strategy, lifecycle planning, and other initiatives that strengthen the program's global access position.
