What you will do

In this vital role you will lead the commercialexecutionofAmgen’s biosimilar portfolio across the UK,driving revenue, market share, and patient access through effective execution of brand strategy. As a key member of the cross-functional brand team, you willleverageyour understanding of the NHS and regional healthcare systems to shape strategic priorities and inspire a high-performing team to deliver exceptional results.

  • Lead and develop a team of Regional Account Managers to deliver revenue, market share, and customer engagementobjectives

  • Translate brand strategy into effective account and customer plans, informed by market, customer, and NHS insights. 

  • Drive key account segmentation, prioritization, and execution to maximize short- and long-term business performance. 

  • Ensure disciplined execution of territory plans, key account strategies, brand campaigns, and customer engagement activities. 

  • Coach, mentor, and develop team membersviaahighperformingcultureoftalentdevelopment, succession planning, and field-based leadership. 

  • Contribute to sales incentive design, goal setting, and performance evaluation processes. 

  • Foster a culture of accountability, inclusion, collaboration, and continuous improvement through strong matrix leadership and emotional intelligence.

  • Extensive pharmaceutical/biotechnology commercial experience, withbiosimilarsexperience preferred.

  • Provenpeopleleadership/stakeholderinfluenceand performance coaching capabilities

  • Strong knowledge of the UK healthcare landscape, reimbursement environment, and ABPI compliance requirements.

  • Demonstrated ability to leadthroughchange, implementinnovation, and adapt to evolving customerinsights

  • Strong commercial, business planning, and budget management skills, with the ability to translate strategy into execution.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, stakeholder management, and cross-functional leadership capabilities.

  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability toleveragedata to drive insights and decision-making.

  • High emotional intelligence, growth mindset, and enterprise leadership orientation, with a collaborative and inclusive approach.

  • Degree educated, abilityto travel and a valid drivinglicence.
